It's aways all lit up and decowated fow chwissmuss inside and out, and even though , it was fwigid, they went to see the displays

I made a smilebox to show you what they saw....it's hawd to get good pictoowes sometimes so pleez excoose the quality

We're glad you had a safe and fun trip down to PA and back. It looks just as cold there as it is here. Your Mommi looks cute in her winter clothing. Our Mom looks like a tumbleweed when she gets all dressed up to go walk us. Guess your Mommi doesn't wear insulated bibbed overalls like our Mom wears.

Welcome home, Asta! We're so happy you are home (and we're home, too!) So much has happened over the holidays. We've missed you!!! It looks like your visit to Uncle Peter's was a good one ... and we're sure you were a perfect houseguest. (You are so polite and well-mannered.) We have a question. Do all redheads have firey personalities? It looks like you could use some real warming up after that walk in the woods. Another question. Were those the SAME Pawsylvania woods that Lacie wandered off into? Do you think she caught your wirey scent and came looking for you? We've been trying to check the calendar and see if you were both in the woods at the same time. We are sooooo glad that Mommi kept you on your leash.

Tell Mommi we loved the Smilebox of all the lights and flowers and trees at Longwood Gardens. We'd like to leave the pretty holiday decorations up for weeks. It makes everything feel special. Especially in cold January, with the long winter nights. And it gives Moma a good excuse to take her time putting things away. (We still have to celebrate Christmas as a family! This weekend!)

Stay warm, sweet Sissie. Rest up. Take your time and enjoy January. The whole month.

Love to everybody

Oh dear ASta!!! I'm so sorry I've been horridly behind in visiting! I went through your last couple of posts and saw that you did have a bath and then FROZE!!! You poor baby! But that PA trip looks divine - I know it must have been miserably cold, but the walk you and momma took both in the woods and to that bootiful house are great pics! And I haven't been to Longwood since I was a "tween," but I've never forgotten how amazing the place is. And done up in lights well... it just sparkled! Thanks for the fab photos - I just loved them and the gardens and the dining room all done up! Yes, Asta... wouldn't it be fun for a party for you there???

Looks like you had a cold but fun trip to Pawsylvania. Guess you didn't go far enough west to meet Khyra. :-)

You should have driven here! Your mom would look very stylish in that hat. Actually, everyone in Montreal wears those hats. They are tres tres chic.

Your daddy has barely changed at all! He's a little taller, but he still has exactly the same mischievous smile.

Hi Asta,
It was nice of your Daddi to brave the long drive to visit his brothers. Of course, it helped a lot that he had you as a driving companion. Now its your turn to get lots and lots of beauty sleep.

P.S Your Mommi is pretty :)

Hi Asta, what great pics of your vacation - it looks like great fun - even if you had to stay on leash!
We are just not trusted off at all at the moment - there are so many deer about and you know how it is....
We know what you mean about moms and hats - Martha was terrified of our mum in her hat but apparently it is so cold even she who never wears a hat is wearing one!
Sorry we are so behind - our human is going to have to be sacked.
Looking forward to seeing you at Mango's estate.
We have emailed Mango to request the dress code for evening meals and may need your fashion advice Asta.
love you lots

It is better to be warm than fashionable. At least I hope that is true given some of the outfits that I have seen lately (not your mommi's hate of course).

Uncle Pete's house looks like a fun place to go exploring! It's been freezing here, too, which is no fun for mama! I, however, love it! I think I need to buy my mama a hat like your mommi has!!

Hi Asta
Looks like you had a great time in Pencil-whatever. But long drives home are a bore aren't they? (I had one yesterday too).
Oh and by the way, I'm wondering if there are any Scottish connections in the family perhaps? We apparently have the highest percentage of redheads of anywhere in the world here in Scotland.
Cheers! H.

Wooos Asta! It sounds as if woo had a good time there. My Mum went to Longwood Gardens many years ago, it is funny because I live in Longwood, and my gardens are out in my backyard, I did not know they were in Pencil-whatever too!

Hi Kousin Asta,

Your pictures of Longwood Gardens are gwreat! That sure is a nice place. And I love that big, old farmhouse across the stweet from your unkel's. I bet it dates back to Colonial times in the 1700s. There are still a lot of Colonial era houses in the Philadelphia area.

Your Mommi was wise to put that hat back on. My mom has, had one like that until I chewed all the fur off it back in my puppy days. Hehehe... I wonder if that's why she doesn't walk me in this cold weather now. Sheesh...)

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
