just a few days apawt, so Lacie and I thought we would thwow them a Pawty in bloggie land.

As you all know, I was at a faboolous pawty at Sallie and Aliens last weekend and they had a most wondewful explanation of a blog pawty, so I will quote them:

GUSSIE"S BIWFDAY

Today is Gus Daggew's Eighth Biwfday .

He and I had a lovely pweBiwfday dinnew, I wished him many many mowe and we toasted to a long life, and love and absent loved ones

Muzzew had to leave to go to St Loolis and Gussie 'n Teka got taken to Cawy Town Vet, whewe they have a suit wesewved while she and Gussie's Dad awe gone.

Gussie wote me to ask if I'd like to come play pokew,
I thought it would be just the two of us.
I gots all my money togethew weady to play, all of a sudden the whole gang showed up

It seems it was an all boyz Pokew Pawty..Teka was none too pleased and I think she might take off to visit hew Sweed Will Yum. 

When Lacie saw hew bwufuws leave fow the pawty, she of couwse had to come and made Mango pick hew up  and the whole thing descended into the oosual Tewwiew Chaos wif Mango making his suds in gweat volumes while  dealing the cawds

Things did impwove once, Katie and Agatha and Fewgie joined us, but thewe awe no photos of that cause one of the woudy kids(who shall wemain nameless) bwoke the camewa in theiw enfoosiasm

Oh well. The main thing is That Gussie have a VEWY HAPPY BIWFDAY!!!!!!!!!

ValentineS Weekend

Valentine's weekend was exhausting

I spent most of it at Womance Puppy's pawty being bawtendew, but also enjoying the hospitality in Alien's castle and dancing wif Gussie and dwinking and eating and seeing lots of fwiends

In the midst of all that, I had to wun to Ewic's house to help nuwse him aftew his encountew wif a , gulp, Bunny..he is heling nicely thank dog!!! but go and visit him to make him feel bettew!

so I've been doing a lot of this since i got home

I weceived so many wondewful Valentine messages on my bloggie and in peemails and ecawds..I can't show them , but west assuwed I loved them all!!!!

I THINK SHE WAS A LITTLE SHOCKED BY THE SUWPWISE BOY GUESTS WHO SHOWED UP..Thank dog that Scootew is small..we would nevew have all fit..as it was, most of the watew came out when the Mango got in..thwough it all, Awchie kept his composoowe

Hewe I am all wawm and cozy in my bed on anothew fweezing day, but not all fuwwfwiends awe so lucky

A fwiend of mine fwom West Village Dogs( that's my gwoup fwom the wun I go to) sent me this lettew..

Dear Friends, 

I write this letter with a heavy heart, as I am in search of a new owner for my dog Oliver.  As many of you know, I am moving to Germany on March 18th to join my boyfriend.  We had every intention of Oliver being there with us. He even had a plane ticket and crate for the trip. Unfortunately though, a DNA test confirmed he is a American Staffordshire Terrier and Bull Terrier mix, neither of which are allowed to be brought into the country. Thus, Oliver is in need of a forever home and perhaps you know the perfect friend or family member who could provide that for him. 

Oliver is a healthy 7 year old young man.  While he weighs 89 lbs, he often thinks he is a lap dog.  He is gentle, intelligent, extremely goofy and has the best personality. He loves to be with people (including children) and is socially motivated.  

He loves searching for treats, performing tricks, making people laugh and playing tug. He is fearful around other dogs and can become aggressive; however, he does not lunge, so he is a pleasure to walk with and he is great on the leash.  

Overall he is an amazing dog. I adopted Oliver when he was 6 months old and was told, “all this dog wants to do is please.”  It is so true, and in return he simply wants to be loved and be near you, whether you are working, walking, making dinner or napping.  He just wants to be part of the pack.  

If you or any close friends/family members of yours would be interested in adopting Oliver please let me know.

OWIGINALLY, I WAS JUST GOING TO GO PICK UP  FEWGIE AND JAKE AND KOOBUSS AND AGATHA AND AWCHIE(who won't have to be afwaid in Ioway cause the snow twucks don't come thewe), but then Lacie's plans to fly thewe on hew bwoom wif hew bwuvvews sowt of went awy(it's a long stowy..you'll have to ask hew about it)

so I got them too..luckily, my Vespa has a side caw and snow tiwes and is vewy powewful so we could dwag all ouw luggage and equipment.

We made weally good time,and it was a good twip except Awchie wouldn't sit up, being scawed of the Vespa noise, and silly babyStan had to pwove his manhood by cwoss countwy skiing all the way, and of couwse Agatha had to wead the whole nuwsing manooal at top voloome(no wondew Awchie is afwaid of lousd noises) and Lacie kept complaining about the cold , blah, blah, bah..i told hew to weaw wawm clothes but she insisted on just weawing hew nuwsie oonifowm to pwove something,,Dog if I know what.  Anyway, We will stay and nuwse Butchy and have a most faboolous time and dwive the monstew away.


We should be thewe any minute, so if any of you want to join us please do.  It's going to be wawm in fwont of the fiwe and the pokew game will keep going and going and thewe's plenty of yummies..KKkkatie has baked a new batch of cookies and she told me on the phone that they'we just coming out of the oven.
