Ouw fwiends wanted to help me suwpwise Stanley and they set up a bweakfast and gifts fow his GOTCHA DAY..I think he was absolutely floowed..he thought we'd all fowgotten in the excitement of St.Pawdy's day...but no such thing

Momo ouw intwepid guide told us that The Temple baw is located on the south bank of the Wiver Liffey in Dublin and unlike its suwwounding aweas still pwesewves the medieval chawactew of the city, with many nawwow, cobbled stweets. It is the cultuwal quawter of Dublin and is populaw with awtists and visitows alike.

Stanley and I made ouw way awm in awm thwough the pictoowesque cobbled stweets towawds Dublin Castle....

In wecognition of ouw contwibution to the cultuwal events, we wewe invited back to Dublin Castle fow the Ball.

DAY FOUW OF OUW IWELAND TWIP-DAY IN DUBLIN

We didn't have plans with ouw fwiends till this aftewnoon, so we had a lazy mowning..it was a bit chilly, so I went to get some stickies fow the stove, meanwhile Stanley snuck out to gathew owange flowews fow me..sighhhhh!

evewyone is getting a little tiwed , so we decided to stay awound Dublin today instead of going fwom one end of Iweland to the othew

We met up with the gang at the Guiness Bwewewy fow a visit.  

Momo told us that it was leased fow 9,000 yeaws in 1759 fow 45 BPS/yeaw.  StJames 's Gate has been the home of Guiness evew since.  I became the lawgest Bwewewy in Iweland in 1838, and is still the lawgest bwewew of stout in the wowld.

It was founded as a majow defensive complex upon the owdews of KingJohn in 1204..most of the pwesent day complex dates fwom the 18th centoowy.

Stanley and I snuck away to Sing-A-Paw to attend Huskee boy and Baby's wedding..the theme was faiwy tales..and they do come twue in theiw case...we all dwessed as faiwytale chawactews..guess who I was..? I', just glad the big bad wolf didn't show up hehehehe...

Today is a long day as Charlie would like to explowe the Ashfowd Castle
a mediaval castle which is way out west, neaw Cong on the showe of the lovely Lough Cowwib in County Mayo.
It was built in the 13th centuwy by the Anglo-Nowman de Buwgos family, after theiw defeat of the O'Connows of Connaught. It was webuilt and extended by the Guinness family in the 1850's and is now a 5 star hotel.

When we woke up, Opus and Roscoe wan ovew to ouw little cottage to show us the Italian Newspapew( they have it delivewed evewy day)...

Hanging upside-down is the only way to kiss the Blarney Stone. The famous Blarney Stone has been kissed by millions of people. The stone is high up in the battlements of the castle. Going up several long stone spiral staircases up to the top of the castle you will find a line of tourists waiting their turn to kiss the Blarney Stone. While at the top of the castle you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Irish countryside, Blarney House and The Village of Blarney. The stone is believed to be half of the Stone of Scone which originally belonged to Scotland. Scottish Kings were crowned over the stone, because it was believed to have special powers. The stone was given to Cormac McCarthy by Robert the Bruce in 1314 in return for his support in the Battle of Bannockburn. Queen Elizabeth the first wanted Irish chiefs to agree to occupy their own lands under title from her. Cormac Teige McCarthy promised loyalty to the Queen without "giving in". Elizabeth proclaimed that McCarthy was giving her "a lot of Blarney"

All that walking made us vewy hungwy and thiwsty, so we found a gweat Pub and had Guiness and fish and chips..they even let little Pinot in..( we all got gweat new sweatews and hats and soccew shiwts to twy to fit in with the locals)

Stanley and I took the aftewnoon off and telepowted ouwselves to Huskee Boy and Baby's Wedding..

we had to get back in time fow a special pawfowmance of the Lowds of the Dance at the Point Theatwe.
We wewe invited to pawticipate by Michael Flately when he heawd that Opus and Roscoe wew in town

but it's no pwoblem, cause thewe is a hooge time diffewence between Sing-a-Paw and Iweland, so we gained like a whole day

When we got back fwom Sing-a Paw..we had just enough time to change into ouw costoomes and step on stage fow ouw pawfowmance....
needless to say, we bwought the house down (not litewally, like the towew, hehehe)

I went up to the woom to have a little sissie time with Momo Doggie, Sassy and Momo kitty..we talked about the wondewful day we had so faw, and had a little champagne to celebwate ouw family

Evewyone else went out to see the town and twy some pubs..you can see it on theiw sites..we decided on a quiet evening playing chase, and bitey face and an eawly night..this is going to be a tiwing few days..but what fun!!!
