The weception and othew events

We all went to a vewy Auwstwian place fow the stawt of the weception..I was not happy seeing all those bootiful howns on the wall, so we moved things eventooally to a diffewent place

fow some weason, my BFF Lacie was centew stage hewe, hehehe, wif Myrna and Gilbewt ovew on the side next to my Stanley Love.
Tanner was wif Miss La Bwadow(isn't that the sexiest dwess she is weawing??totally the latest coo-touw), but kept fliwting wif Lacie too..tsk,tsk..and he's a mawwied man, on second thought he might just be showing off his fencing moves.
Kousin Koobuss looked so pwetty in hew yellow hat , that she decided to keep it on the whole time. I think that pawticoolaw shade of blue that Teka has on is faboolous fow hew fuw. don't you?

honestly, I think Lacie changed clothes as well as pawtnews evewy five minutes, hehehe
Scwuffy butted in between Hootie and Agatha ( I think he was none to pleased wif theiw awwangement)
Ludo and Homer wewe all too pleased to keep the lovely Abby company
little Peawl looked so bootiful in pale pink

Moco consoled Rocky who's two giwlfwiends couldn't make it on the twip, Mack held on tight to Ruby, and Pedro was chawming little Miss Peawl and Lowenza
Eric and his sweetie Toffee wewe seen whispewing sweet nothings in each othew's eaws, and Gussie was hovewing pwotectively ovew his sweetheawt Snickers who is still none too stwong fwom hew howwid encountews wif the seizoowe monstew Flash and his bwuvvew Peanut wewe twying to wowk up the cowwage to ask Maggie to dance while hew bwuvvew Mitch watched hew weaction

we moved ovew to a biggew, mowe sumpshoo-ess woom (wif no stags on the walls thank dog),
and aftew eating a wondewful dinnew, all the giwls gathewed to see who would catch Myrna's Boo-kay
Myrna had changed hew dwess cause some boy..I won't mention any names ow anything, but he has been known to stain things accidently spilled stuff on hew wedding dwess, so while it was being quickly sponged and pwessed, she wowe one of hew othew dwesses

all of a sudden thewe was a commotion and befowe we knew it..Mywna had disappeawed.....................................

in germany there is a tradition to "kidnap" the bride after the ceremony some friends kidnap the bride and drive her to a 'kneipe' (german bar/restaurant - usually the grooms main drinking hole so he knows where to look) where they start eating and drinking. once the groom has found them he has to pay the bill and gets his bride back. traditionally he also has to bring a lantern (to show his bride the way home) a broom (to sweep the crowd out of the bar) and a rope (to bind the kidnappers). and money. to pay the bill... we cats decided that this is a nice tradition. so we kidnapped the bride, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA we took her to the Gasthof Maria Plein wine cellar, and i believe what tintin is drinking would be a very nicely aged chateauneuf du pape, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (of couwse this was all Karl's idea)

of couwse wif his histowy of passing out and am-kneesha, evewyone expected Gilbewt to collapse.
Dr Piewwe as well as Sullivan his best man, and Stanley wewe standing by to catch him.

What they didn't count on was that Gilbewt was a changed wheeley! Somehow full of action and wesponsibility.
No one was going to keep him fwom his bwide!!!!!

He got all the cash, and the wope,(well weally it was a wope toy wif tennis ball, but who has othew stuff awound), the lantewn and the bwoom ..and he set off to find his Mywna

he found hew safe and sound and they all had a good laugh and a little dwink to celebwate

By now hew dwess had been cleaned too and Myrna could put it on fow hew fiwst waltz wif hew hewo-husband Gilbewt.

evewyone stood out of the way to see them dance..it was as if they wewe wolling on aiw!
As a special gift, Mommi got them bootiful lilac colowed baccawat champagne glasses.
They cut the cake and we all toasted to theiw happiness.

Thewe wewe of couwse some pwetty funny toasts, but I blush at the thought of wecounting them to you sweet weadews.

Some time in the eawly mowning we all finally went to bed. I was unable to get a photogwaph of the inside of the honeymoon sweet...Myrna and Gilbewt awe old fashioned and vewy pwivate.

As in all good hotels, we left ouw shoes and wheels out to be polished ovewnight

I did get a snap of Mr and Mrs. Kwoonsky-Kweit sneaking out of the hotel while evewyone slept off the celebwations of the night befowe...I have no idea whewe they awe going on theiw honeymoon

thank you all fow coming and helping us celebwate. I hope evewyone had as good a time as we did
smoochie kisses

Sweet FB AStaroni O' Mine!!!!

I'll be back to finish our dance momentarily, but I HAD to tell you how much fun I have had in Austria with everydog, kitty, hammie and wheelie, but especially with YOU! Now, relax and enjoy the rest of the reception. We'll make sure you get to sleep in tomorrow, and I'll serve you and your mommi breakfast in bed (actually, I'll let George get your mommi's breakfast... but I'll still make it for her)!

This is the most bootiful celebration I've EVER seen! Thank you for letting me be part of it with you and your family.

Goober love & tons of smooches,
Stanley

WHAT FRIENDS! Oh Miss Asta and Miss Myrna, thank you so much for inviting me! It was so nice to meet all of your doggie friends! I used to live with a dog, so I wasn't worried once that someone might eat me! hehehehe!

This is the wedding of the year! We will all be talking about this one for a long time!

Thank you for being such a charming hostess for the big wedding and reception. I was personally so smitten with Autumn that I almost missed the action. Who knows, maybe wedding bells are in my future. A wheelie can hope.

What a perfectly wonderful wedding and reception, along with all the details that went into arranging it. We've told everyone we know about it - and are so glad we live in a time of the internet so that the whole experience can be shared in the blink of an eye. We almost feel as if we were there - in Salzburg with all of our new friends. Thank you for taking so many pictures and making them so quickly available so we could enjoy them. We wish the new couple and the wedding couple well, and hope you are all able to relax and enjoy the beautiful country of Austria for a bit before you return.

Love,
Miss Fergi and Jake (and the humines, too)

Asta...oh my...this is fab...I wonder if I could get another piece of that delicious cake...I already nibbled on Myrna's bouquet, but Aggie took it from me so Myrna could get it preserved...(wonder what they do to it...stuff it????!!!) Oh my, those cats were chillin' in the wine cellar...oh...that was a pretty good pun, wasn't it...(Lacie coughs and blushes...)

Um...I didn't mean to knock some of the girls unconscious on the bouquet fight er catchin'...I mean, I don't really wanna get married yet, but Myrna had put a piece of steak inside the bouquet to make it more appealin'...totally yummers, BTW...what do they feed those Austrian cows? Milka bars...ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Gilbert has changed so much...he carries himself with more confidence...nuthin' like a good woman to make the man, huh....

Um...I really thought it was rather mean of Scruffy and Babystan to steal the newlyweds wheels....did you see them hobblin' down to breakfast...Myrna took one look at the hot carob drink I prepared for her and blanched...hmm hmm hmm....maybe I forgot to add the sugar...you know you hafta do that in Europe sometimes...Mumsie found that out the hard way in Italy once....

Well, Noah and I are packed and ready for our Tyrolean tour....we're stayin' the night at
Noi Von Schwein....I hope they don't have any of that nasty flu there...yes,I have my Purell and clorax wipes...you're such a nurse, Asta...are you and Stanny goin' anywhere? You could slip down to Northern Italy...very pretty...

Gotta run...I see Noah comin' with our basket...(with his Arthur ritis, he likes to bring his own bed....)

You did the bestest reportin' job ever, dear girl....Mumsie was thilled lookin' at Salzburg again...it's her favorite city....

Tschhhhhuuuuuushhhh!!!

Laciegirlie

BTW...we're gonna stop in Munich...I have a couple of songs to sing there in the Hofbrauhaus....

Lacie clears here throat and begins to hum, but Noah grabs her and tosses her into the cab to go to the Hauptbahnhof....

Vielen Dank!!!!!!!!!

Asta, What a day. Fantabulous wasn't it? And Gilbert...golly!!! Sweeping his Myrna right off her wheels in that bar..what a hoot. Almost as good as them leaving their wheels outside their bedroom door, teeheeee!!!

Then all the girls AND PETEY trying to catch the bouquet!!! Dog, he's smitten kitten. He looks wagging good in that kilt. He and Rosie make the pawfect couple. Wondered if he got knocked out by the lunging Lakie Lacie?

It was sweet to take a peek at Mryna and Gilbert sneaking off on their moneyhoon and ooh I see Myrna took her bag from Miss Enid!! How nice. BTW have you seen Miss Enid? Mom is fretting running bleach baths ready to get her furs back to threadbare.

Thank thank thank you soooooo much dearest Asta for inviting and including me and my sweetie Toffee in the celebrations. What a wagging wonderful time we all had. The wedding co-ordinator did everyone proud. All was as pawfect as pawfect. When I get back to merry olde I'll be name dropping her all over the place.

Wiry lovies and kissies. Eric xxxxxxxxxx

I'm a bit saddened that Gilbert would not let me come to help him rescue Myrna. I was not going to hurt those cats. I was just going to pick them up to move them out of the way for him to wheel her out of that wine cellar. Honest. I would never hurt a kitty. Especially not while wearing my beautiful dress.

I must have been a little drunk though, hanging out with the Doofus like that. Where was my Joey? Those German beers sure can go to a girl's head.
