finally we'weoff along the boawdwalk next to the Hudson Wivew( also known as the Nowf Wivew)..that's Jewsey on the othew side
auntie Jane vewy considewately bwought us watew and was offewing it, but we weally wanted to walk and see and sniff mowe

thewe's lots to see..these awe the tennis couwts..I think I spotted a ball...I bettew not tell Petey, cause he'll nevew want to move fwom hewe
on ouw way, we passed a doggie wun(not ouw oosual one) and decided to go fow a quick dip in the pool..It was ahot day..Mommi wanted to get in too, but it's fow us doggies only
Mommi pewked up when she saw this..I think she and auntie Jane awe going to go do this sometime

Petey wanted to play king of the mountain, hehehe ...I told him he wasn't a mountain goat and to get down
we all got pwetty pooped..(have you evew seen Petey's tongue hang out so much?)..we walked a long way , and the sun got to us, I think

befowe we head back, we wanted to make suwe we saw all thewe was to see.....like the statoo of libewty and all the boats...these machines help you see faw..we each had one
yep..thewe's the statoo and a gweat big boat..we saw a couple of those (monday is the day they oosually sail out of the hawbow)..they make a weally cool WooWoo sound as they say bye to Manhattan..(like ouw huskie fwiends, only lots loudew)we waved to them and wished them bon voyage!!...then it was time to head home..I fell into bed and snept, and bawely noticed that Mommi and Daddi went out again ....(they smelled like pizza when they got home)Pleez cwoss youw paws evewyone, and look up to the dogstaw and make youw wish..Jackson is going to the dogtow again today!

That looked a lovely walk along the river. Our hoomans lived in Battery Park for 6 months a few years ago and they loved to walk along the river. Fantastic you had such a sunny day as well.
We are thinking of Jackson today, we do so hope his tests all come out fine.

hi Asta, that was a terrific walkie with Petey. we like those swimming pools that you visited and the view of the statue of liberty and that huge ship. that is a scenic place where you live. we have no idea what a city like NY is like, there is so much to see and sniff.

That looks like a lovely walk, Asta. Do people kayak in the Hudson? My Unkie Rob lives in NYC and was just here visiting this past weekend. He went kayaking in the Milwaukee River with my girl. He said it was gross but that it doesn't even begin to compare to the Hudson.

What a beautiful Labor Day you had! The walk along the river looks so nice and refreshing (especially with the water Petey's Mom brought). My Mom thinks that your Mom should try the kayak lesson. She did it here in the Chicago river and loved it! She says big city's look different from the water (and that's just Chicago, so imagine how NYC looks!)
