Spwing is Spwinging and Eastew Plans

It seems that Spwing is finally twooly Spwunging on ouw stweet..despite no wain, the little fwesh leaves awe twying to come out..they awe vewy bwave

this is the stweet I walk on fow my quickie walks..it's aways nice and well lighted at night and It has a flowew shop and a tea salon and a chocolate shop and a little gwocewy stowe and some westauwants all on the block and it's wight in fwont of my house

on my walkses we have been twying to decide something...Mommi and Daddi awe not big chuwch goews..they mostly only go fow the awt and moosic..

pwaying is something you can do anywhewe  (I myself put my paws togethew fow fwiends even in bed)

but since we have five chuwches wifin a five block wadius of us, and we love heawing theiw bells, we decided to figoowe out which one they should go to fow Eastew Mass

Daddi and I sat outside opposite the univewsity chuwch and I got to meet the sweetest little boy. his name is Toto and he's a little shy. His owiginal ownew had to cwoss the bwidge and he had a couple of awful yeaws on the stweets, but now he has a soopew nice Mama who loves him vewy much and will keep him fuwwevew

Mommi went inside the chuwch to see what time the Mass was and heawd some bootiful owgan moosic being weheawsed

"have you decided yet Mommi?"  

 "no little Asta, let's look some more"

we could go a little fuwthew to the Basilica

ow stay weely close , in "Ferenciek Tere" (Fwanciscan Squawe) that's whewe we get on the metwo (thwee blocks fwom home)

(it's acwoss the stweet fwom whewe we boawd the twam thwee blocks fwom ouw house in the othew diwection)

last but not least, two blocks fwom ouw house on a toowisty  walking only stweet is St Michael's chuwch

it's bootiful and has a wepootation fow wondewful moosic

APWIL in PAWIS wif Gussie

This last week, my Gussie Love and I bof got  sigh mull tanoos gwoomings and haiwcuts fow Spwing

I was just lying awound on the big bed thinking of Gussie

 I couldn't believe it..he said he'll come pick me up and why don't we go to Pawis fow the weekend since we'we bof clean and pwesentabull

as you can see, we had a most fantaboolous time..we went fow a bike wide, ate wondewful cheeses and baguette, shopped fow books along the  "kay", sat on benches just to be togethew and one evening as we walked along undew the awcades of Place des Vosges, we wan into Awchie playing his accowdion...well, what's a woggie to do?
Gussie took me in his awms and we danced the night away!

A pawfect Sunday

What a most spectacoolaw day I had last sunday

I'm only now getting awound to posting about it cause my time has been taken up wif wunning to help my BFF Lacie ( of holytewwiews) help biwf and nuwse hew hu-niece Ellie
 
Baby Ellie came eawly, wasn't doo till May ist, but aweady has a mind of hew own I guess. (takes aftew Lacie)

She is gowgoos and healthy , thank dog and weighs a whole bunch(Lacie claims it's all because of hew smoofies, hehehe)
anyway, pleez go congwatoolate them hewe if you haven't yet.



So now, going back to last weekend, hewe is a video of how my sunday stawted

aftew we got home, Mommi and Daddi took a nap, then ouw vewy good fwiend Vewa called and said if they can get weady and be at the theatwe in half an houw, she has tickets fow them fow a show that they had wanted so much to see, but had been sold out fuwwevew.

needless to say, they jumped and wan and got thewe in time

The play was  pawt of the budapest Spwing awt's Festival and it was called   "The Infernal Comedy".

I'll let Mommi expain:

The play starred John Malkovich,  It premiered in 2009 in Vienna and has toured the world, and now finally here in Budapest.

The play is based on a biographical novel of Jack Unterweger (an austrian serial killer...i know, it sounds bizzare, but it was terrific)  there is also an orchestra playing bits from Haydn, Mozart,

he was fantastic!, lots of improvisation on his part, working in some jabs at the current conservative leadership and the fact that the New theater is not where he was invited because it doesn't like decadence, and foreigners etc.  The audience was howling with laughter..he then said(in character) no one must mention this outside tonight because his publisher would kill him..

then he fowgot to tuwn it off and "siwi" stawted to talk to him...Mommi jabbed him in the wibs, luckily evewyone was laughing and didn't heew theiw intewwuption

they sat at a cafe next to the theatwe  (this is the view they had fwom theiw outside table)

and had a glass of wine and talked and giggled about the most pawfect day we had
(Mommi is thinking maybe this move was not such a bad idea aftew all)

Mowe pawfect times in boo da Pest

Anothew pawfect weekend in Boo da Pest stawterd on Fwiday wif a big walk, again passing thwoo the squawe whewe the Spwing festival cwafts and food faiw was being held

I looked awound at all the stuff, but didn't buy anything

Waited wif Daddi , while mommi wan into this pastwy shop

then, we went into the MAC stowe to see if I liked any shade of lipstick, hehehehe
just joking, I only weaw shiny natoowal foxy lipses, but I got lots of pats and kisses while mommi got a wed shade fow hewself

latew that day, I stayed home

 while Mommi and Daddi went out fow a bowing intewnationals meeting..they said the bestest pawt was walking along on a spwing night and seeing hoomans going into the Opewa and theatwes

 and fiwst flowewing twee,

 and then coming home to me

The smileboxy is fwom my day on Satuwday, anothew pawfect day..68 degwees wif sunshine and NO hoomidity(that makes mommi vewy happy)

my favowite pawt was having lunch wif Mommi and Daddi outside
(most westauwants have an inexpensive thwee couwse menoo untill about thwee ow fouw o'clocks)..I'm eating a cottage cheese dumpling..sooopew yummo, and meeting a cute little woggie on the stweet
