Thank yoos and wemindews

Deew Fuwwiends, Thank you fow all youw good wishes and encouwaging wowds about my eyes..I knew you'd be able to make me feel bettews.
I'm having the salve put in fow anothew seven days, so I look kind of gweasy and icky, but it feels bettew.
Mommi is investigating the suwgewy pawt, to see if we can somehow affowd it, it's pwetty obvious that this will be a wecuwwing pwoblem and she doesn't want my cownea to get damaged

Now do you wemembew when I asked you to submit pictoowes to my sissie kitty Gwacie fow a contest a while ago?
It was fow doggies and kitties , but i think the only doggie othew than me who submitted a pictoowe was my BFF Lacie

(doesn't this pictoowe of me and some of my fwiends  playing in the watew cool you off?)

Anyway, the winnew  will be announced on Gwacie's bloggie whewe she is also having an auction

Thewe awe items fow bof Doggies and kitties , so please twy to go and bid if you can

go hewe pleez

This auction promises to have something for everyone thanks to our wonderful furries that have donated items for you to bid on. All money raised will help Maxie pay for his vet bills. These bills were incurred due to a vet that made a horrible mistake. Our photo contest for Maxie was a great success with many photos being submitted and many voting for their favorite photos. The winners of the summer photo contest will be announced on July 25. The winners in each category, there are four, will be given gifts custom picked by me, Gracie. Head over to the auction blog and see what great items are waiting for you. Again, thanks to all who have helped with their donations of money or items.

Gracie, Head Auctioneer.

I know you'we constantly being asked fow help and it's ovew whelming, but even a tiny bit helps if all of us do it, and if you can't, then cwossing paws and pwaying  and leaving a message of encouwagement helps twememndously

Thanks evewyone

We are behind so we are so sad to read about your eye problems - Barney has eye issues too so don't feel bad - he gets a lot of greasy looks from the eye goo (and Gracie still loves him anyway). We are sending over lots of get better purrs and prayers.

And we saw your entries at the contest when we voted (we can't reveal our votes of course) and we were surprised there weren't more doggie pics! We didn't enter (we had send a donation to Maxie about a week before it was announced) but we did donate a bracelet to the auction - we are excited that you are letting all the doggies know about it too!

We're are so glad to hear that your eye is better. When Java had that problem, the doctor removed an encapsulated malignant cyst and once it healed, he never had any more problems. But the vet did warn us that it could come back.

Our Mom loves auctions so we'll be off to see if there are anythings we might "need".

Two more sleeps until your sissy and brother will be here - we can hardly wait!!

XOXO

We hope things go well soon for your eye, Asta. It would be so nice not to have to have that surgery. We have been doing our best to help Shelby with our crossed paws and a few green papers. So many out there in need of help. As you say, even a little helps.

Thanks for promoting the auction and photo contest. The winner is announced on the 25. There is an awards ceremony for all of the winners that I am working on right now. It is so exciting!

Hi Asta,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and wishing Molly well! Hopefully, she will be OK. She is my best bloggie doggie friend!

Looks like you live in NYC!!! We live in Chicago, but my mom LOVES NYC.

Your pal, Pip

P.S.: I will check out the auction, too.

Miss Asta,
I hope that your eye is feeling better. Please do not be concerned about your looks, OK? We love you even if you have a weird ass stinking red oozy... oh, wait, I meant to say, that we love you no matter what.

Now, about that swimsuit. I think it is very modest and most becoming. Not like the huzzy suits favored by your BFF.

JD and Max said...

Hi Miss Asa,

Thanks for your kind words about JD's paw, and also for our sensible comments about terriers. We THINK our FH has FINALLY got it, that we're always going to be looking for adventuers and so the odd scrape along the way is just going to be expected, he he he!

You are such a kind girl Miss Asa - we wish there was more we could do to help these pups that have been through it through no fault of their own. FH is trying to think of a fundraising idea to help Shelby, perhaps an auction. She's really going to put her thinking cap on over this weekend.

Have a lovely weekend Miss Asta - schnauzer snuggles, JD and Max.

So sorry to hear about your eyes. I cannot believe you need an eye lift either, but the doctors know best. We are crossing paws all over the place for everydog and we know they would do the same for us.
