Ohhh... the zoomies you ran and the leaps you made! You must've slept like babies at night. Especially after full tummies from all that beautiful food! It looked as pretty as we're sure it tasted.
But FLEAS, Asta? NO! And trained fleas, no less! Circus fleas! They must've thought they'd landed in paradise on your fluffy white coat, having escaped from the circus. Just please PLEASE don't eat any. Fergi can tell you. The results can be really nasty.
Don't worry about catching up. We've a feeling you're gonna be running after your tail for the whole month of December. That's okay. Just make sure you make it home to bed at night. Sans fleas.

Down here in LA (that's Lower Alabama, not that silly California LA) I have to take flea and heartworm meds year round. I hate it! I think you are lucky you don't have to do that. Don't worry, you'll get rid of that circus soon - just think of them giving you some country cred.

This year has been extremely muggy down here and from what our Vet says, fleas still abound. We're sorry you got them and we hope it doesn't stop you from coming south again sometime.

aw asta we've been rather sad the last couple of days but your flea tale has put a great smile back on b's face - at least they were very styley fleas!!
Asta and Mommi...we take Tea and Flick medicine all year here in Mayemphis too. And yummy heartworm thingies.
But we are sorry that you had to go to all that trouble to import a few fleas to New Yawk. And we hope they leave soon. Humans get itchies from them too, so tell Mommi and Daddi to be careful.

Oh Asta, I feel your ITCH! The idiot Marine let me n Puffers walk in the neighbors grass...they have large yard doggies. And we both picked up some fleas. SHE was not best pleased when she came home to find fleas on both of us....Puffy got dipped, clipped and treated Sunday, all the bedding got washed n dri'd on hot. I got treated the same time as Puffy, but I still gots an itch. She thinks she saw a renegade flea but couldn't catch it. We've both been banished from the big comfy bed. I'm going to the groomers tomorrow for a clip n dip and another treatment. SHE says we probably have cosmic fleas now, since it's been 2 days since we were treated. Or maybe we just itch from the bitey marks.

One of my Uncle Koobusses had fleas once when he was a puppy. He was not a happy camper.

Don't be embarrassed. We've heard it happens to the best of us. Luckily we haven't had any circus of that type yet but Monga had some fun with ticks and hot spots, there are itchy also...

Sadly, fleas are part of country life! I have to use flea prevention medicine all year b/c everytime I go to my grandmama's(in the country) some critter bites me! It's terrible for us girly girls to have to endure such!
