Asta darling, know that you bring peace to all of us by looking so beautiful in whatever you put on your furry little body. I do doga some weeks with muzzer, but we can't always make it. I didn't even think of mediating on my own.

Asta, pssssssssst, I have a secret to tell you! Have your mom buy you one of those udder tug toys and when you're bored and want to play, you stand there with the tug in your mouth looking all sweet and if she doesn't see you at first you slap her leg with it! It'll get her attention and then when she does look down at you and sees the whites of your eyes pleading - you're in!!!!!!!! It works for me every single time!

Playing all by yourself is sometimes not very fun. I think meditating was a good idear. If that doesn't work, you can try running in crazy circles all over the house.

We are having good weather. You get on Aire Ruby and come on out. We will run around the yard until we both pass out. We can take the stuffies in and out the dog door until the hoomans are ready to pull out their hair.

Asta, I'm with you! I'm sooooo bored today! My grandma is a work. My girl is sick so all she is doing is sleeping and watching TV and sleeping. There's no one here to entertain me and I'm totally bored. I tried to entertain myself too. I decided that I'd try to be the best watch dog ever and protect my girl while she's sick. I growled and barked at every little sound. The heat would come on so I'd growl. The humidifier would bubble so I'd bark. I'd hear a car door close out side so I'd run to the door and bark. I'd see steam coming out of the rice cooker so I'd do my yappy bark. And it worked because I wasn't bored anymore but it also made my girl really cross at me. She moaned a bunch and curled into a ball and put a pillow over her head. I thought I should stop because all my guard dogging seemed to be aggravating her condition. So now I'm bored again. Maybe I should give meditation a try like you.

Ohhhhhhhhhh come here. PL2 had to put a cone on Agatha becasue she is licking her war wound and she will not move and I am feeling better and am separated from Aggie becaseu"She vants to alone" We could play together!!! Love Archie and Agatha(I haven't moved since this cone was oput on me)

I sure hope your weekend has gotten better. I totally understand about being bored. I try to play ball by myself too, and it doesn't do anything for me. I keep trying to push mom and dad to get me a dog of my own. Then I'd always be entertained. If you get really bored, just head towards Chicago and we can hang out!

Man Asta, doesn't it just stink when nobody will play? I mean you drop all your toys in front of everybody and nobody budges. That makes me feel so inadequate, I usually chase a cat or something and start a ruckus. I mean, it gets attention right?

hi Asta, that's so sad that no one will play with you. that sounds like dog abuse to us. sometimes Benson plays by himself by dropping the ball on the floor and catching it when it bounces. maybe you could do that with your ball. then it will roll under the couch and that's the end of that game. we know!
maybe you chould go rip something up. that will make you feel better and probably get some attention too! start with the couch and see if anyone notices! (but don't tell your parents that you got the idea from us. we are innocent poodles, not crazy terriers.)

I totally agree Asta - I was stuck home all day yesterday and no one would play with me. I was so bored that I had to chase the kitties just for something to do!

I gets bored too and I ask to go out and then I run over to the neigbors and take stuff from their yard (shhhhh, its a secret, the hoomans don't know) and I replace it with stuff from other neighbors....the hoomans are getting very frustrated....Its very cold and rainy and nasty here too. There was even a tornado that was close to our home, but mummy said it would be okay. I was soooo bowed too this weekend.

Thank you so much, Asta for your kind words. Mummy says she knows Gizmo is tired but she says she is not ready to say goodbye. I try to get him to play all weekend, but he just growls at me. Oh kousin Asta, I know how you feel. It's awful. i haven't had a walk in over a week! Today the weather was nice so my mom took me for a two-mile walk. I also got to play a little bit with Sadie. I have been exhausted since we got back. I'm so tired that I can barely stand. Why did she want to get all our exercise in in one day? It's been about a month since I last walked two miles and I'm not used to it anymore. It's hard! Give me a break!
