soup days and a wequest fow help

I just got back fwom my walk, and I almost fwoze my feets off..I had on my nice coat, but it's fwigid out thewe!!!!..you get an ice cweam headache, without the benefit of yummie ice cweam..so stay in evewyone!!!
I had Mommi soak the pinto beans ovew night, then aftew making a base of sauteed ,diced onions..we added a little sweet hungawian paprika...now we'we weady fow the west of the stuff..cawwots, pawsnips, and beans
A good chef has to move quickly and be evewywhewe in the kitchen
You have to add the soaked beans and ham hocks(if you'we a vegebawian, please excoose this pictoowe)
testing the fweshness of ingwedients is vewy impowtant
Mommi makes these little dumplingy thingies..I didn't help with the mixing..you need fingews, hehehe....you mix eggs and flour and cweam of wheat and a little salt and make a hawd dough, and then pinch bits off and twist in youw fingews if youwe a hooman ...then you dump them in the soup
I pwomise it tastes bettew than it looks..miammmmmmmmmas Faya would say

Aftew all the excitement of the last few days, and the disappointment of the Academy Awawds(thewe wewe no fuwwies nominated in any categowy..not even best dwessed...and I think I had quite a spectacoolaw dwess..much nicew than many I saw)

anyway ..all I wanted to do is get some west and booty sneep..so I went into my old little house,(it's mainly my toy box since I gweaw up), but I still go in whenevew I want to hide out....I was sneeping peacefully, when Mommi came and wanted to dwag me out, and flashed the camewa in my face again.....

visit in NY

The day finally awwived,my Sissies came to visit fwom out of town!!!! ...Yeahhhh!!!!!

My Sissies, Momo and Sassy, came to NY to visit me ,and chaperone the young ones, my new friends, Scylla and Charybdis, , as they wanted to go shopping and they have never been away from home by themselves. ..Charlotte wanted to visit her cousin, Mrs Perry, who lives in an apartment near Central Park with her beans. So it all wowked out pawfectly and hewe they all awe!

We checked in at the Witz-Cawlton..even though I live hewe in NY, I wanted to spend as much time with my sissies as possible and so I decided to stay at the hotel fow the doowation of theiw twip...

We decided to dwop off ouw things and go explowe the awea...we wewe uptown, on the edge of Centwal Pawk, and so we walked awound Fifth Ave and Centwal Pawk awea

Charlotte Scylla and Charybdis had welatives to visit , so we sepawated and my Sissies Momo and Sassy came shopping with me...

I loved the stairs..going down in a gown makes you feel like a pwincesswe all loved the show and had the best day evew!!! but wewe weady to go fall into bed and get some booty sneep

They wewe in the middle of taping the Today Show..so we decided to take a look

Even though I live hewe I've nevew been..I'm oosually in bed having bweakfast at that houw, but we wanted to spend as much time togethew as possible. The young ones weally enjoyed being on camewa..what cuties!

we wewe spotted by one of the talent scouts fow the View and immediately whisked off to the set to talk to Bawbawa Waltews

we had a spiwited discussion about the conceptual importance of promoting goodwill among the furries and our experience as inter-species siblings.
(..stwangely enough theiw wawdwobe depawtment made us take us off ouw supew stylish outfits ..they said Middle Amewica wouldn't undewstand it and would not be able to feel like we wewe one of them...that's so stoopid!!! I think Middle Amewica is smawtew than they think)

...while that went on, I had to make an appeawance on the wunway at Fashion Week..a fwiend of mine had given me this outfit,(that's how we NY giwls dwess well..we get fwee stuff)..but in wetuwn ,I pwomised to appeaw on the wunway in his show

having finished my obligation..we wewe fwee to hit the town, see some sights, and shop some mowe.

but by the end of the day I was weally tiwed and weady to go home and cuwl up in my own bed...so I said my fawewells and helped evewyone pack

At the end evewyone was shopped out and ready for home with many more bags......The twip was much too showt ..but they pwomised to wetuwn and stay longew next time!

In all the excitement of the ski pawty , and then twying to catch up on my sneep, Guess what I missed!

My fiwst post was on Febwuawy 15th of 2007..no one noticed , no one answewed, A few posts latew I got a weply fwom Cairo the boxer cause we know his pawents...but my fiwst weal fwiends wewe my twin Asta la Vista fwom Austwalia and Jackson my sweetheawt fwom England..all this didn't happen till the end of March..I almost gave up..I figoowed no one wanted to be my fwiend.

My Mommi knit me a sweatew and I got to taste my vewy fiwst snow..it was glowious!
My Pawents loved me and consoled me and said "don't wowwy little Asta, you'll make some fwiends someday"

What a diffewence a yeaw makes !!!!I'm suwe glad I didn't give up, cause I have made so many wondewful fwiends thwough DWB!! I love all of you and look fowawd to heawing lots mowe of adventoowes and plain snoozy days.
