Asta Girl!

I bet your schmoozing and greeting skills came in very handy for all of the artists! You'll probably have other offers for being able to draw so many hoomans into the show. (What do you charge for your services?)

Now that you have tasted of wild running and the freedom of being off-lead, it's hard to go back. I know. If I had it *my* way I'd never be on a leash. I hope you get many more opportunites to play fetch with your mommi and run like the wind!!

Goober love,
Stanley

Hi Asta
You lucky dog you...hehe..Its so great that your mamma and pappa can just get in the car and drive a little bit, and be by the shore. We can do the same...oh the swimming place is where my mamma lived when she first came to america "alifetimeago" not sure what that means...anyway its a place called westport,ct. She lived right on the beach there until a few years ago, and then she moved to a place called sandy hook, that is just 20 minutes away from westport, so she takes me to her old house a lot to swim, cause some of her friends still lives there:O))
The water you see, is called Long Island sound...not far from maybe where you were except across the bay.
We are trying to figure out what we are going to do for fun today...except from a lot of eating..heheh. I guess thats how people celebrate laboring weekends..they just eat ALOT!
Now don't get me wrong..I'm ALL for that part, but there has to be some water, balls, swimming and running involved too!
Enjoy the beautiful day Beautiful Asta!!

Oh Asta...the video of you fetching the tennis ball...well, let's just say you and Scuffy are DEFINITELY related. Oh my Dog...it coulda been him; it was amazing. Why do you Wires do all of that work and chase balls, frisbees and such? Part retriever I guess. I suppose when my puppy metabolism slows down, I may have to think about exercising more seriously. Being rather er...short, Scruffy says if I don't get off my Lakie duff, I'm gonna look dumpy. But not to worry till my puppy days are ended! Congrats to your mommy!!! Her paintings are fabulous! Perhaps ya shoulda taken a swan home and cooked it for dinner!!!!!

Asta: Can you explain "Fetch" to me. I do not understand why humans throw the ball if they eally want to keep it. So I don't do "fetch"! But maybe if you explain it to me, I will try it.

Congrats to momi for selling two paintings. Maybe more will sell over the weekend and you can celebrate with a nice trip to Azrizona.

happy labrador day.

Hey Asta, Running free and chasing the tennis ball is the best in life. Wheeee..... It just doesn't get any better, except when you are all done then you can lay on a comfy couch and snooze. You had a wonderful wonderful fun time. And YaY to you mommy for selling two of her beautiful paintings! Someday our mommy wants to buy one too. Hey Asta! Sounds like a great weekend. So glad to hear your Mum sold 2 paintings. It's great being off leash, isn't it? I do it often except that I'm not allowed to run any more so that means its not QUITE as much fun as it was before. J x

So glad your mom sold two paintings. That's great! I wish I could have been there. Looks like a super place. What a good time you had, Asta!

Tell me, Asta, did you ever get any of that lobster roll, or did you have to be content with a french fry? I would have jumped up on the table and stole the lobster. Sometimes my manners are very bad. (Wink)
