Hi Asta
So sorry you couldn't find your true love Stanley in the park. But I did notice that you managed to commandeer a park bench for yourself. Well done!
Cheers, H.
PS Gail is rather envious and wishes she could spend a sunny afternoon in Washington Square listening to jazz music!

You might be sad in that last picture but you are adorable!

Your poor Stanley had to deal with some crap in the park rather than spend some quality time with you.

The world's not fair sometimes...

Perhaps your mom can paint you a lovely picture to hang in your sleepies spot? Then you'll always have Big Airedale Stanley with you!

Oh, Asta, that last part about your Stanley is so sad.

But there than that, is seems you and your mom had a nice time there together. You are so fortunate to be able to go so many places with her.

Notes by Nina said...

Asta, sweet sissie. We are sure that Stanley misses you just as much as you miss him. Try to remember all the things that made your tail wag with him, close your eyes and visualize them all over again. Maybe when you open them, you'll feel a little wiggle to your tail.

We want those visits to those special places to bring a sweet smile to your pretty face and a fond memory to your heart. Enjoy all those wonderful places with your mommi. You'll see Stanny again. Maybe even... well, we can't say it.... but you KNOW we like happy endings.

Love,
Fergi and Jakey

What a beautiful day in the park Asta! Too bad you didn't have some yummy gelato to nibble on while you sat on the bench. That would have been de-licous! I'm sure you are still missing your Stanley, remember all the great times you had together, and hopefully, he'll get to come visit again!

We love Washington Square!! Of course we've only been there VICARIOUSLY through our peeps stories -- but it is a very cool spot for watching the world go by and dreaming. Mom used to go there way before Dogdad when she lived in Manhattan -- and then they went there together the first time she showed him the town - so it has a lot of history!

Hi Kousin Asta,

Great pictures of New York! I love to look at them. It must be so much fun to walk there with all the smells and activity. You are so lucky. I've never been to the city. All I have to smell on my walks besides other dogs are bunnies, chipmunks, squirrels, and birds. Sigh...

I wish I could help you not to miss Stanley, but alas, there is nothing I can do. Sorry.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie
