Ewwands with Mommi and Meeting doggies

Evewy mowning I go with Mommi and help hew do ewwands..we go to the dwugstowe, the bookstowe..it's aways diffewent, except for one thing..evewy day I go with hew to buy a baguette a few blocks fwom whewe we live..she ties me just next to where she is..even though she's inside, she can see me and weach me..she's vewy pawanoid about evew tying me anywhewe else..(hewe thewe awe always fwiends to watch ovew me.)..othew places she's scawed that someone will steal me .
Mommi wan into a fwiend, and had to talk..blah,blah,blah..and poow me was tied up and told to wait on ouw cownew
I had to scwunch up my eyes cause the wind aways blows hewe next to the wivew
..it totally messed up my haiw

Since I wasn't doing anything, I decided to sniff the bwead
I took the tiniest nibble...just to make suwe it was fwesh, you undewstand
All of a sudden ,thwee doggies came by........we all checked each othew out..vewy politely
Two mowe doggies showed up
two of them wanted to play with meThe big guy just couldn't weally keep up with us..he twied but gave up

then the cutie fluffy one and I had a good nose to nose discussion and decided to have a game of westling
I give in quite easily
I finally got a good stwanglehold on the little fluffy wascal,hehehe..we wewe well matched
aftew all this they went on theiw way...I guess they had ewwnds to wun too
As you can see thewe is nevew a dull moment in my neighbowhood..

I love ewwands....hope all you doggies and Hammies had a gweat weekend!

You're so lucky Asta! The Js could never leave me tied up outside a shop as someone would pinch me. It's a sad fact but it happens quite often here. J2 says that they'd soon be sorry and return me asap! Hehehe! Errands do look like fun though, especially if you get to sample the goods! J x

You're really such a good girl to not have chowed down that whole loaf of bread! I would have! What a fun adventure this was - even though you did get tied!

Love ya lots,

You're a social little butterfly Amber. Did the other doggies help themselves to the baguette, we would have, we love bread. Did your mum mind the nimbles?

Wow! You must be living in a cool neighbourhood! Our mum does not dare to tie us outside a shop - and her reason is that we might get taken away. We think she just does not trust us to find the way home!

Have fun!

Ohh, memories. In Va. Muzzer and I would go most mornings to the bakery, sometimes for bread, but sometimes for croissants or other pastries. I would get tied to the railing too, but often one of the ladies from the bakery would come out with a treat! I miss Va.

ps...if someone you don't know tries to take you away, it is OK to bite them and bark...muzzer says.

That baguette looks scrumptuous! I thought of you yesterday. Mom and me were watching Law and Order SVU and I heard that familiar, Kachunk Kachunk and then the screen read: Grocery: 78 Horatio Street and I thought, hey, that's the street my pal Asta lives on! I looked out for you, but you weren't doing ewands at that time. What a shame.

Fun to see you in action in the HOOD! You have so many friends, and you know just how to treat each doggie. I bet you're so well known in your neighborhood that if someone saw another hooman walking you, they'd intervene to make sure you hadn't been stolen.

You love to wrassle, but I can see that you're truly a lover, not a fighter. Ahhhh. To live in your neighborhood.

What happened to that baguette?

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

I woulda eaten the bread. Pups or no pups, that bread rules!

Scruffy is chickening outta the costume pawty. He read A&A's post on Salem. He's being stubborn!

Hey Asta, you look like you almost got a bite out of that baguette. we would not have settled for a nibble. how fun to have your friends just walk by and play. we have to stay home all day when mom is at work, nothing to do except play outside, play inside, nap, chew on our chews, terrorize the birds, nap some more, eat leftover breakfast, terrorize each other, dig holes in the yard, chase squirrels that invade our territory, bark at everything, roll in the mud, run around the yard - well, now it doesn't sound that bad after all. but we like weekends best because then we can do all that with mom, and then more!

Hi Asta,

Wow, errands look really fun. You have such willpower just to nibble on the baguette. I've been known to grab as much as I can when food is left too close to me. Your neighborhood is full of fun things and tons of dogs. Each day must be a blast.

Your pal,
Kirby

Asta,
You lives in a very cool neighborhood, wow. We glad you have a good time while you be out and about. First a taste of the bread and then meeting your friends. How cool is that. Our momma would be pawanoid too about leaving one of us outside also.
