Hi dawling fwiends!!!!
I'm hewe again..tiwed, but safe in Budapest

the twip was smooth and wondewful until we got to the second flight fwom Munich to Budapest

in NewYawk, we got to the aiwepowt in wecowd time,
the lovely people at Lufthansa didn't chawge us fow ouw vewy ovewweight fouw bags and the cwew on the plane, fussed ovew me and loved me to deaf

then the hawd pawt stawted.
Aftew a layovew in Munich, we had to take ouw hand luggage(two 50lb suitcases, Mommi's gigantic puwse, Daddi's laptop cawwiew, my bag, and dooty fwee bag and fouw coats) had to be cawwied down two flights of staiws, then onto a bus, while having me on a lead, Mommi twipped at the high step of the bus and now has gigantic scwape and big bump on hew wight shin (She says Nowa Chawles in the Thin Man nevew looked as inelegant )
aftew getting off the bus , we had to climb onto small aiweplane that was jammed full of people(mostly gewman, going fow business meetings) and now encountewed not vewy fwiendly cwew..whew, but we made it
an houw and fifteen minutes latew we landed in Budapest

loaded ouw thwee thousand pices of luggage onto thwee cawts and sailed thwoo the gween(nothing to declawe line)

thwee wondewful fwiends (Vera, Otto and Zsuzsa ) wewe waiting fow us wif two caws and took us to ouw apawtment..they had bags of food and goodies fow us

we met ouw landlady in fwont and she showed us how to use ouw six new keys, hehehehehehehe(aftew she left, of couwse we got all mixed up and it's only today, the second day that we have figoowed out how to entew ow leave in less than ten minutes.)

The apawtment needs lots of cleaning and painting and Mommi was in teaws fwom seeing that and having not slept fow two days didn't help

Why do howwibull things happen to wondewful hoomans and fuwwkids?

..This last week the biggest twagedy happened to my deewest fwiends 

the Pittie Pack..

They had a fiwe that destwoyed theiw house and all theiw belongings and most howwibully, five of theiw beloved pack cwossed the bwidge.  Guewwo(Mommish's heawt doggie, Coco Chanel the queen of all the oonivewse,, Shelby ouw miwacle suwvivow of the wowst that hoomans do to pups and the two wee dawlings Tigew and Lucky all pewished in the fiwe

I am pwaying vewy hawd that the Mommish finds peace in hew heawt aftew this twagedy and that the fact that hew little hooman pup and hew fuwwkids Bwinksie and Bella awe unhawmed and will help hew heal.  She did evewything in hew powew to save evewyone, , she had to be dwagged out when the smoke became unbeawabull..hew heawt is beyond bwoken..I am vew vewy sad, but know that those fuwwkids who had all hew love awe now safe in heaven and will help hew keep giving hew genewous heawt to some othews who need it so. 

This is supposed to be a most joyous and bootiful season of love and happiness.

The outpouwing of love that the blogging community has shown fow auntie Sandwa and the Pittie Pack pwoves that goodness and light is hewe. I am so gwateful to be pawt of this family .

we played the piano and sang songs

and we twied to make evewything spawkly and bootiful

my home is packed up

aftew 29 yeaws in the same apawtment, we awe leaving wif heavy heawts

the piano had to be sold (Mommi had had it since she was 11 and you all know that now she is about 63000000 yeaws old)..it still has to be picked up

This is a containew on a twuck that will be home to all ouw stuff fow about six weeks

The nice moving guys filled it to wifin an inch 

then sealed it and made us photogwaph the key so when they open it in Budapest, we'll know it's been all safe the whole time while on boawd the ship and twucks

To finish, I have a funny stowy to make you giggle ;

So, the house is empty, and Mommi and Daddi awe tiwed,

Mommi has a cwacked wib and to celebwate the end of the move, they decided to dwink a toast...thewe was a bottle of Pwo Secco in the fwidge and Daddi twied to open it..the cowk didn't want to come out, so he used a scwew openew:

all of a sudden, Mommi felt like someone shot hew in the chest

no, not the cowk, but the whole top of the bottle blew off and hit hew in the chest

hehehehehe(sowt of a fitting way to go if it would have done any weel damage)

as it is, she got a bwoose and a little blood , but no awtewies wewe sevewed and no eyes lost

They did the only logical thing..got a sieve and pouwed the Pwo Secco into glasses and dwunked it all up ....Phew

I will pwobably not be able to post ow visit much fow quite sometime,but will twy

Well, it's all the fault of the giant MOVE

I, of couwse am an immense help in this endeavow

YES, IT's awficial!!! we awe moving EAST.., all the way to the othew side of the big Pee , and then some

Budapest hewe we come

We have to have all ouw stuff on the containew by mid Decembew (should make fow a vewy intewesting Chwissmuss....NOT!)

and we have to leave ouw NEW YAWK apawtment by Janooawy fifteenth

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, cuwwently , we awe packing, twying to sign cotwacts, having vawioos ovewsee moving companies coming and measoowing stuff and giving estimates  (believe me , you don't even want to know the amounts of tweat this will cost me), and figoowe out what to take and what to sell

(Mommi might post some of the paintings that she wants to sell at half pwice , if any of you awe intewested)

it's ,scaiwy, exciting, happy and sad all at once

My pinkies have lived in this apawtment fow 28 yeaws and all of you know how cwaxzy in love wif NewYAwk they awe, BUT  sometimes life makes plans of it's own,  and  it's time fow a new adventoowe

so we awe looking at the bwight side and getting weady fow all the new discovewies and life we wil have

This little boy just about bwoke my heawt.  his Dad died and now he is homeless and in uwgent need of a fuwwevew home....his name is DOOFUSS

Doofus is a handsome 8 yr. old male Wire mix with a great personality who is desperately looking for a loving home to call his own. He lived with an elderly man his entire life in rural Pennsylvania. This suddenly ended when his owner/friend passed away. For 3 months, Doofus was left to live on the 100 acres where he grew up. The family planned to euthanize Doofus, but this smart little guy ventured off his property and found his way to a neighbor's house whom he had occasionally visited in past years. Doofus is very appreciative to have good food, a bed, and a friend. Unfortunately, he does not get along with other dogs or cats. Since his friend has a dog and several cats of her own, she is unable to keep him much longer. Doofus is currently living in an outbuilding. He needs to be in a warm home very soon since the cold weather is coming. Doofus loves attention, likes to play, is very energetic, and will lean on you to be petted or rubbed. He will be a wonderful companion for someone who can give him a life like the one he once knew & misses so much......living in a home where he is safe, cared for and loved. He is UTD on routine shots, house trained, and is gentle around his food & toys. Doofus is living in PA. His new home must be in the northeast. My fwiend Pepsi wants to celebwate his belated fifth Bbiwfday on his bwofuw Fluffy's Gotcha Day on Novembew the 6th by hosting a Commentathon

I'd make the hoomans pay... and help other furpals in need! I'm not sure if you guys know, but there's a huge flood disaster in Bangkok right now, and many of our own kinds, and other furry kinds, are terrified, torn from their homes and families, stranded, hungry, tired, and are in need of help. There is a non-profits organization called the "Soi Dog Foundation" in Thailand that helps the homeless, neglected, and abused dogs and cats. Right now, they are working with many selfless groups going around to save ANY furry pal out in the waters, to get them to dry land, or to find them a new home.

I suggested to A to make up for the lack of presents and having not been able to let me blog and visit all of you, she should let me hold a comment-a-thon as well. Since Fluffy's gotcha day is on the 6th Nov, we can have the comment-a-thon then! For every comment we receive on the big day, she'll donate $0.50 to the cause!! But her being the stingy person that she is, she said she can only afford to give up till $100. Do help make me empty her wallets okay? Spread the word!
