Dear Asta (and Mom)
Wow! What an adventure and what an experience! It was truly marvellous to be part of it and to have the whole gang here. I know we were in 'cyber' world, but it actually felt like reality.
I can't thank you enough for your magnificent posts and wonderful characterisation. Your artwork is stunning! Thank you again for showcasing our beautiful country and for being such amazing friends!

With lots and lots of love, licks and kissies,
MAX, TAMMY, TOFFEE, TOMMY and MAX'S FAMILY IN SOUTH AFRICA.

ps A FINAL NOTE FROM MAX:
"Hey Asta. That pic you have there - of the Canyon. You should come and visit it one day! It is the most breathtaking place in the world. The view across the African Savannah is something surreal. If you look closely at that pic -top left hand corner - you will get a glimpse of some flat country stretching out. That is our KRUGER NATIONAL PARK...it is bigger than Switzerland.
....We love you guys lots! Forever friends?

We're feeling sorta sad, just like those animals slowly walking away there at the end. We enjoyed your trip almost as if we were there, ourselves. We hate to see it come to an end. The adventures and the scenery; the hospitality and the comradery; the fun and the education. You've tempted us to see another part of the world. And to better get to know another set of amazing friends.

Thanks for sharing,
Love,
Jake and Fergi xxoo

Asta
I have been so enjoying reading about all your adventures with all your friends in South Africa. You truly are a girl to find interest and excitement wherever you go. Scotland is seeming at the moment very dull in comparison.
Have a safe trip home!
Cheers, H.

Hello Asta

We have so enjoyed reading about all your adventures in South Africa. What an amazing time you had.

Will you be back home in time for the NY Fashion Week before it ends? We are sure you could wow the designers with your newly acquired wardrobe.

Well, Asta, we made it. I am so glad I brought you along. You certainly do help to level off the little beast. That photo of Max and Tammy in the mirror made me feel a bit sad, but I think it will be good to be home again.

Mango

Asta,

So glad you and Lacie decided NOT to follow Angelina and Madonna's examples and left those babies in Africa.

And Rosie's not upset with anyone! She was on a different flight because she was flying north to Scotland and everyone else was flying across the Atlantic - she also needed to buy an extra seat for her tennis ball headdress.

As for my "bum-bum?" Still sniffable, thanks for asking, although I'm not sure why you did? Were you thinking of the tranquilizer dart? I swallowed it. remember? Mango was the one who was shot!

Welll from the Savannahs of Africa to the Savannah Airport....

Your pal,

Petey

No Asta, as a stylish kinda guy, I quite agree the outfits were not exactly "you".....

Glad you are back from your trip.

It certainly had me interested!

Wow, Asta! I feel so sad that your adventure has come to an end. I feel like I was there with you and all those exotic animals and beautiful scenery. The giraffe was my favorite. You're so very clever, sissy. I think everyone had a great time in Africa, even those of us who were not there with you.

I am never going to hear the end of it, Tanner said he left behind SO MUCH important stuff. Its not like he cant fly himself over there to pic it up whenever he wants?! He can be such a pest.

We had such a great time, thanks for all the help finding me and for Tanner's party, we posted the pic on our blog today.

Sigh, it's like the end of a good book. You're sad that its over and there's no more story, but so happy that it was a good story and you got to read it. It was a marvelous adventure and so fun to see if from different view points. I loved all the hybrid beasties, and the fashions (well, except for the last native dresses, no so much) and the beautiful scenery. I hope you all have many many more adventures.

Thanks for a GREAT story.
Hurry home.

Oh Asta...how hot do we look???!!! And I don't think we look at all plump...just well nourished...(Lacie reaches into her pocket and pulls out another squished piece of smashed stale barkday cake and crams it into her mouth...oh my...this is piece #15) Asta...do you think my butt looks big??? I can't stop eatin' this cake...what do you have in it? I love the raspberry and almond filling.....

Wasn't Africa the best???? Boy I love the last pic of all the butts...I am thankful you didn't put me next to the Alli Phents...I wouldn't want her to feel badly...

Well, I'm at the spa and I'm runnin' outta letters on my text screen....

Barkies dear girl!
