Sheesh, that is tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of snow. No wonder you didn't want to get out of there. That would have been oodles of fun jumping around in there. Gosh, we are sooooo jealous. Some of us aren't even jumping anywhere yet let alone in the snow...

I have selective hearing too sometimes!!!
We sure do hope Snowball gets better real quick.

Where is the romping? You look so snug in your jacket and then of course your jammies at the end of the day. But glad the snow is gone, right?

What a wonderful post, Asta - I felt like I was totally there with you - BTW, you make a GREAT retriever!!! Great pictures and videos of such an historic snowfall back there! You totally look like you are having such a great, great time, bouncing through all that fluffy white stuff after your ball! And how pretty NYC looks! And how elegant you are in your chic attire, both snowplay outfit and apres-snowplay duds! So stylin' girl!!! Sorry that snow can't stay forever. We just went over to wish Snowball well - hope she does better, dear Asta!

Asta and parents-what a slide show! We all loved it on our end! Just glad we didn't get that last round of snow-I'm sick of getting my paws wiped off everytime I go out!
And I must say your black sweater is extremely sophisticated-what a classy fella you are!

I'm hoping for more romps in springtime than romps in the snow at this point. You look like you're totally in your element, though! You're also really sweet to always be thinking of your friends!

Poor Kousin Asta,

You must be very tired, running in the snow and cold like that for such a long time. You Daddi really put you through the paces! I know how tired you can get from snow. I've been spending some time digging trenches. Sigh...

Love and lots of Koobuss Kisses,

I would not hear Mum calling either, she calls it selective hearing, I call it ignoring her.... I am so glad woo had fun. Great job running over to Singapore to nurse woo little friend too!
Scampi would like your sweater too, but I think they are silly on me, I am always warm.. unless it gets below freezing, then I need to come in, after all I am a Florida Husky!

WE are so pleased you finally had loads of snow to play in. We certainly cannot blame you for wanting to stay at your run for as long as possible.

Funny how snow gets in your ears and makes you a bit deaf isn't it? We suffer with this as well...........

Asta. Finally! You got your deep fluffy snow! The fun kind to romp (?) and play in! We have to stay, though, it looks like it's really hard to catch invisible snowballs.

You look so fashionable and cozy (and warm!) in your beautiful sweaters. All of them. (We are so wooly right now, we don't often wear our sweaters and jammies, but we have a feeling that is about to change!)

From what we've heard, Snowball is beginning to eat again? We think it might have been your loving nursing skills that encouraged her. We'd do anything for you, and bet she would, too.

The wheelies around here are making noise. We think we know why. There are several reasons we can think of. It sure was fun talking about them the other night! We keep hearing about someone called "old soul". And what's this about Scruffs?

Sometimes it's too much to keep up with. We think we'll go take a nap now!

Love you, Sissie

hi Asta, congratulations on your snow. it's beautiful and so much fun. snow is a wonderful gift for us poochies!
we have visited Snowball on FB and she seems to be doing a little better. our Baxter is going through a little difficulty too - mom doesn't understand why he doesn't have interest in anything lately, except playing at the dog park and last sunday he collapsed there. he was okay after a few minutes, but our mom was really scarededed. we think she's going to take him to the vetty, but without any concrete symptoms, she thinks the vetty will just blow us off. it's happened before! we're just too healthy to get any sympathy from the vet.

woofs.
