A Wondewful Wedding gift, and a Shock

Hi Evewyone. This is Mywna,
This week has been a wollew coastew fow my aweady fwazzled emotions.

Fiwst, I weceived the most bootiful pwesent fwom Autumn, Maggie and Mitch.
Ouw doowman was used to seeing packages and mail fow Asta Kroon, but had nevew heawd of me,.
The package was addwessed to Myrna Wheeley Kroonsky, and Mr.Wamon, at the fwont desk had to ask Daddi wo that was. It was such a suwpwise..I didn't wegistew anywhewe fow gifts. Thinking that I am aweady soo vewy lucky just to have my fwiends and the love of my life Gilbewt, I couldn't imagine that I needed anything else.

I was completely bowled ovew by the magnificence of it. Inside a gowgeous box, wif gold wibbon, thewe was a Wedgewood tea set!!!!!!!!!! Isn't it the most bootiful thing you have evew seen?????
Thewe was a bootiful cawd attached wif the deawest message.
Can you just imagine the lovely teas that I'm going to be able to sewve??? This is the most fantastical thing I own. I will tweasoowe it and always think of my sweet fwiends when I use it.

The note fwom Autumn(who is one of my bwidesmaids) and Maggie and Mitch, expwessed theiw genewosity of heawt pawfectly! Thank you my Deaw Fwiends so vewy much! Gilbewt and I will tweasoowe it always.

I was in seventh heaven, and then I weceived this lettew fwom my Gilbewt and it wedooced me to teaws.

Oh dear..this is Gilbert(or so I'm told; I've forgotten everything)...I've been unconscious since Thursday...Fiona ?? rather exhuberantly was tuggin' my pull cord and yanked me down the stairs(so they said)...and it all went black...I had to try on my tux or somethin'(dunno why)....who are you??? That ravishin' WFT...and that magnificent Wheelie? Oh that Wheelie...what is your name? Did I read Myrna??? She's beautiful...I think I'm in love...at FIRST SIGHT! Dare I ask her out to dinner? I need to find someone to formally introduce us....what a beauty...this is the girl I've been looking for all my life...thank dog I've found her! She's getting MARRIED? OH NO! NO!...Just when I've found her...I may hafta go throw myself back down the stairs...or drink the Mother's coffee...(the closest thing to poison in this house; figured that out quickly...) What should I do? This is a TRAGEDY! (Gilbert begins to weep...he's been a little moody since his konk on the head...it was his 4,398th concussion....) Can anyone help? I NEED TO MEET THIS LOVELY MISS MYRNA BEFORE SHE'S MARRIED OFF TO SOME SLOTH..... In desperate straights, Sir Gilbert

You can just imagine what was going thwough my mind and heawt. I was sobbing uncontwolably, but at the same time, thewe was hope. He did say he loved me.
The next day, these gowgeous flowews awwived.

and this lettew

Oh, my sweet dear Myrna...I don't know what to say...I fell (was pulled) down the stairs and couldn't even remember my name...and I saw you and Asta and didn't know who you were and fell in love with you all over again and now I'm beside myself that you were upset...OF COURSE I REMEMBER THE DAY OUR WHEELS FIRST TOUCHED...the day we discussed the best kind of wheel oil, the day your stuffing sorta fell out...oops, guess I wasn't supposed to 'member that, and the day our tu lips touched....it was magical....
And now with our wedding rapidly approaching...oh my....
I just want you to know how happy I am to be able to spend the west of my wheelie life with you, sweet Girlie....
And pups or not, (and I certainly don't think you're too old...) my life would not be complete without you....
I'm sending you some flowers....I hope you like them....
I will love you forever....
Yours, Gilbert Szeretlek!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Myrna...um...the only residual effect of Gilbert's concussion is he's been randomly speaking in a strange language...have no idea what he's sayin'...but I'm sure it's womantic!! And I did not pull him down the stairs...I merely gave him a tiny tug...can't help he did a roll over and a face plant.....sorry, my dear...Fi....)

Well my sweet fwiends, all is well..he even leawned hungawian fow me (although that sentence made no sense at all) but I suwe know what SZEWETLEK means....Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh The wedding is on and Mommi is continooing all hew wowk on it. Again, pleez fowgive us if we don't leave answews , I'm weading evewything, but we wun out of time. (Meantime Asta had an invitation to go to pawty wif hew fwiends fwom CCSI. They sent ovew some faboolous pictoowes. She'll show you tomowwow. I think she is having a ball.)

love and wheeley smoochies

Gilbert is one lucky guy, Myrna.
And you are one lucky girl.

And WE are lucky friends enjoying your wedding plans and jitters! It's going to be LOVELY!

(Will you at least kiss under the famous gazebo near Salzburg? And run in the beautiful "Hills are alive..."?)

We hope so.

Oh Myrna! The tea set is lovely! How thoughtful of Autumn!

I am so sorry that Gilbert had that accident and temporary memory lapse... how frightening! I am glad to see his back to himself, and hasn't forgotten how much he loves you!

Hope you are getting plenty of rest, Myrna. Wedding planning can be so stressful. Give Asta & Mommi some assignments, and go take a nappie!

Ooh Myrna my dear. Th tea set is charming. Just like you. How kind of the M&M's and Autumn. Now Wedgewood has gone to the wall it will be worth a small fortune! Better put it somewhere safe my dear, you never know. I'll wheel over and show you how to make a proper cuppa.

Wheelie marks, Wally Wednesday. xx

It's quite funny that Gilbert called himself a slouch, even though he had no idea what he was on about.

We think that tea set is so pawsome. M&M are so very thoughtful!!

Your wedding gift is beautiful. I am so relieved to learn that Gilbert is OK. Frankly, I think he might have just been getting cold wheels because wheelies aren't known for getting concused too readily.

All's well that ends well, I suppose. See you at the wedding.

Well, we had been at Maggie & Mitch's blog earlier and seen the pretty box. We were trying to guess what the wedding present was!
We would never have guessed such an enchanting gift. The wedgewood is just delightful and we are sure you will enjoy it for many years to come.
There is absolutely nothing nicer than having afternoon tea from good quality china!
Bailey and I have often commented on this of an afternoon - we know modern folk now often have mugs - but we both partake of our tea from nice china cups and saucers.
We are thrilled for you.
The lilac was beautiful and will smell devine.
We are sorry to hear of the memory loss problems with Gilbert but these things can happen after a nasty fall.
We trust he will make a complete recovery in time for the wedding.
We are so excited for you Myrna ...
love and kisses
Martha & Bailey xx

What a magnificent tea set.

You will be able to have a fine English High Tea of scones, jam and clotted cream with a nice pot of Earl Grey tea to accompany them.
