Some of you wewe wondewing how to make the baked peaws , so I'm giving you the wecipe

it is essential that you have a pup, kittie ow hammie on hand to help..it tuwns out so much bettew!!


(Baked Pears)
From Chef FulvioDe Santa of the restaurant Peck, Milan

6 large, firm pears, washed thoroughly
I cup dry Marsala wine—we use sherry in a pinch
1 cup sugar—we use less
2/3 cup water
I stick cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 325. Stand the unpeeled pears in a large baking dish. Pour the wine over the pears, sprinkle them with the sugar, then pour the water into the dish and put in the cinnamon stick. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the pears are soft, basting every 20 minutes.

Serve warm or cold, with the sauce poured over. Serves 6


We love it cold the day aftew if any awe left ovew (hahahahahahahahaha...as if)

That sounds very yummy. Pears are the favorite fruit among the little grandbipeds here. But we like anything except bananas and leftovers are just perfect.

And it's healthy because it's made with pears.
We haven't tried this before but a couple of times pinky stuffed pears with chocolate then wrapped filo pastry around them and baked them in the oven. It was a bit fussy but tasted nice...so they said.
