Pee Ess..Even though I did Not get to go and meet these faboolous pals..I had a lovely time wif Sloan who was the absolute best doggie sittew awound.....and auntJane and Petey met up wif us at the wun so all in all it was a pwetty tewwific weekend...I will twy to catch up wif all of you as soon as I can snap Mommi out of hew depwession..(I might have Lacie make hew some of hew vewy special smoofies)

Now chin up! The show will be up for an entire month, which gives people plenty of time to take a look or two, go home and move things around, then go back and buy a painting (or two or three) or commission a portrait of their own beloved pet. Don't be so impatient!
(Asta, tell Mommi it's way too soon to start talking of offing herself again.) Like the right puppy, the paintings will find their proper owners.

That's exactly how we felt on the day we tried to sell my Mommy's DVDs at the dog event. The crowd was so poor & hardly anyone was interested. The just look & then walk pass. But at least we did manage to raise some money for PAWS! Sorry to hear that your Mommi's show didn't go as well as she thought it would be. But tell her don;t be sad. Maybe next time, it will do better! Your Mommi's paintings are PAWSOME! I gotta say that becoz it is true! I love the one she did of you on top of the big mirror. It's sooo kool she got to meet Riley, Toffee & their pawrents at her show! You would have been thrilled if you got to meet them too...

Your human really knows how to handle a brush! My mom is wondering - is that all done in oils? It's very wonderful stuff.
My human female is an artist as well and she said that sometimes after humans see an art show like that they don't buy right away but for days after they can't get the images out of their heads. Then they start to look for places to hang a painting. Then they simply must have one!
So give your mom a chewy to nibble on for a while and things will turn around! She's too talented!

Dear sweet Asta, Tell your mommi that she is only allowed to be depressed over this for a couple of days Once she thinks about how much love she has in her life, her cares will float away. (And those people in RI will proably be buying paintings before the month is over!) She has you, your wonderful Daddy, and oh so many doggie and people friends. My Mom says she is rich that way!!
