NewHamstew pawt 2

I woke up to a bootiful New Hamstew Mowning (btw...I didn't see any Hamstews ..old ow new...vewy disappointing..I was hoping to tell them about Girl Girl and hew fwiendses)
so I did a happy Woach to stawt the day wif my cown cob

Daddi watched while he had his coffee

then a little excewcise to get the blood mooving

aftew that I thought I would just sit and contemplate my good fowtune to be hewe

Auntie Kawen came out so I wan to gweet hew...I'm always happy to see hew

the hoomans had bagels and cweam cheese and smoked salmon fow bweakfast.....Dot and I wewe vewy intewested ( I'm vewy lucky cause Mommi always shawes bweakfast wif me)
she took an extwa bagel to bwing to me cause I was still outside

I had a good post bweakfast wun, but then it stawted getting hot
it was time to go into Tamwowf..theiw little town..whewe they wewe going to have a Fouwf of July Pawade...I was all dwessed and checking out the flowews that matched my outfit, while I waited fow the hoomans to get weady
we pawked the caw, and walked past some pwetty gawdens , to ouw spot whewe we like to watch the pawade..we had to find shade
Thewe awe a lot of howsies awound hewe and this one was all dwessed up

then came this scaiwy guy, I'm kind of glad he didn't spot me..he doesn't look so happy
they had all sowts of silly things, like this "shewman tank"hehehehehe

I liked this baby Mooo cow a lot
I have no idea what this was supposed to be...small towns suwe awe diffewent than NYC
Daddi bwought me ove to say hi to this vewy cute little sheltie puppy, I'm sowwy you can't see him..he was the pwettiest in the whole pawade
we wewe happy to see that some hoomans still wead

then came a whole bunch of vewy noisy fiwe twucks..but I didn't even flinch

as long as I was next to Daddi, I felt pawfectly fine

this is a pictoowe of all the females hooman ow dog fwom the house...Mommi says I was the pwettiest, even though I wasn't weawing wed , white , and blue
we got back to the house and just hung awound fow a while..it got too hot at that point..so evewyone had napses

fiwst Daddi checked me fow ticks

aftew ouw napses, we stwolled awound, and stawted to get weady fow the BBQ

we wewe going to eat outside today

while we waited fow evewything to get weady, Mommi wead to me fwom the Dangewous Book fow Dogs..(that was hew favowite cownew fow sitting, cause thewe was always a bweeze)
Hambuwgews, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw and that was just the beginnning...then thewe was cake!!!..I had some of evewything except cake, cause that was chocolate..but I had a cookie instead....I think Mommi and I awe bof going on a diet aftew this weekend...
I twied to convince hew that I don't need to, cause than I can join my fwiends in the substantial wiwes club, but she didn't buy my awgooment

anothew pawfect day comes to an end...to be con't.

Hi, Asta -

What a parade! That scawry guy really didn't look happy. The little cow was so cute.

Mama says that you are about an hour away from Kaci. Kaci is inland - the town is Gilmanton which is about 15 minutes away from Laconia. Grammy's house is near Gunstock Mountain.

We can't wait to see the rest of your pictures.

Love -

Hershey and Kaci

P.S. Our weekend was BORING compared to yours.

Looks fantastic Asta! Hey, your dad has a Montauk shirt. I know where that is, because I've been there! No ... actually, now that I think of it, that was MoHonk. It's practically next door to our friend's place in the Catskills. Can you believe mom took me someplace where cats have skills?

wowie...you do a great job at Zoomies. And I agree with whoever said you are the best looking female in the picture, but then, I am a wire, and I have a serious appreciation for other wirey types. Your Mommi and Aunt Karen are also bootiful, and everyone looks deleriously happy. MMMM...what kind of pawtinis were you drinkin?

You are one little trooper, Asta! You can keep up with your dad and mom without any problem, and they take you to beautiful places where you get scrumptious food.

The parade looked fun to me; those small towns know how to put on a show!

Sweetpea Astaroni!

THank you THANK YOU for the shots of your freckled tummy! Your freckles always make me wiggle with happiness!

You are definitely the biggest fashionista in New Hamster. I think our forefathers forgot to mention how prominently the color orange figured into the revolution!

Sorry no hamsters, but it looks like you got to be your crazy self and of course, brought joy to all the hoomans there. (I think your mommi shouldn't read to you from that book, though. You and all of our terrier friends have too many crazy ideas already!)

Goober love & smooches,
Your Stanley Boy

What a wonderful time you are having on your weekend. Small town parades are quite fun and sometimes pretty silly.
Don't you wish you had the great yard to run in all the time?

Hi Asta!!

What a fun place that is where you were!

No wonder you were so tired. I think they were working you too hard, especially in that second video. If your Mommi wants the ball so badly, let her go get it. I also like the way you spoke up for yourself. You are a real fox terrier, my friend. That is one of our most notable traits. We always let others know what we are thinking, even if we have to tell them to buzz off.

That thing that you were wondering about is a spreader. We have them around here to spread fertilizer and weed killer on our lawns. First we put something on the grass to kill the weeds, then we put something else on the grass to make it grow so that we can cut it more often. Go figure. You don't have these problems in the city.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie
