it tuwns out, she's not weally missing.......................I just got a note fwom hew saying that she and Gilbewt awe climbing Mt Evewest...unbelievable, and they both just had momo-nucleaw-osis.
This was the postew I had up all ovew town, now I have to go take it off fwom eveywhewe again..I guess I should just be happy that I heawd fwom hew...Mommi and I wewe so distwaughtI hope you all wemembew the big pawty in Austwalia to celebwate Willow and Puttew's Birfdays!
Don't wait to the last minute to make youw wesewvations on aiw Ruby, cause if I don't take enough film wif me, you'll be left out of the aftew pawty pictoowes.....hope to see you thewe.

Unfortunately, he can't go to Australia cause the flight is too long for him to stay comfortable.

Dear Miss Asta...
Greetin's from Base Camp on Everest!!! Myrna is fine...she had a bit of altitude sickness (to be differentiated from the attitude sickness Lacie gets...) We had to descend to Base Camp for another day or so as she has a bit of pulmonary edema....a common problem with being so high up....
She was tryin' to climb without supplemental oxygen...very risky around here....
By the time you get this we should be at Camp 2...Thursday, Camp 3, Friday Camp 4 and the Summit...Saturday....it's PAWTY TIME IN OZ!!!
I'm takin' good care of Myrna, Asta...um...we are sharin' a tent, but with all those layers of gortex, don't worry bout the canoodling possibility...trust me, I've tried.

Yes, I would love to go, will you take me along? That would be wonderful for sure. Gizmo is doing really great. Thanks for asking. He has been running really fast around the house. He can only make like two dashes across the living room and then he gets tired, but he smiles alot. Hopefully this last surgery, they got all of the cancer.

I was writing to answer your questions but now I am not sure if I can remember them properly. Yes! My mom and dad2b are getting married (July 19th). And yes! Both Riley and I are in the wedding - in fact my parents planned the wedding/reception around it being "dog friendly." Riley and I will be the ring bearers - I have a little pink satin/tulle dress and Riley already has his suit (seriously). Mom bought them for us from Tar-ghay (Target) in November. Did you see the picture of us that will adorn the wedding favor gifts? I blogged about it a couple of days ago. Oh! I am sorry I am writing too much. Don't worry Myrna has her scarf on- it it will have a drag effect and slow her down on her descent down from the summit - or did they use it instead of a flag to plant at the top??
