THE BEST LAID PLANS OF TEWWIEWS.........

As you saw in my last post. Gussie and I had a lovely day and a weekend planned in fwont of the fiewplace just welaxing, BUT, life has othew plans sometimes

Mommi and Daddi bof had soopew dwippy noses and caughs and stuff so Gussie, being the gentledog that he is said he will wun home and bwing some of his soft cotton hankew chiefs
fow theiw noses

meantimeI stawted making some chicken soop

hewe's a hint, twy not to have youw apwon dwag in the soop while you'we stiwwing

I added all sowts of vegebulls and the chicken that I had taken off the bone
and Gussie weminded me that Daddi would love some Gowgonzola  Dolce wif a peaw fow dessewt, so I got that

we thought all was well , but we didn't count on the Holytewwiews being bowed at home and deciding to come join us fow a game of scwabble

I finally fell asneep next to Gussie  while baby Stan munched on the tiles and Lacie twied to  stwangle Scwuffy because he didn't like hew wooles..sighhhhhhhhh
It was a fun weekend anyway

Fwiends! My sissie Gwacie sent me this wequest fow help.

"I am in need of your help. You see I have stepped down from doing the auctions at CB and KC is in need of someone to step in and fill in my paw steps. I had been doing the auction for l l/2 years and it is time that I step aside and pass the torch. If you are wanting to help out please let KC know and you will be guided through the process and you too will soon be an ole pro at doing this. While working on the auction your heart is guaranteed to grow two times bigger than it is right now once you see how much everyone pitches in to help those in need.
If you could post this on your blog and let all of your friends know that an opening is there at the auction this would help us out a lot.
Thanks,
Gracie"

I know this auction is fow kittehs, but many of you fwiends have kitteh's too and might be willing to help out..aftew all a fweind is a fwiend kitteh, hammie, woofie , howsie, bunny ow whatevew fuwwkid they awe

If you have the time and awe willing, pleez help my sisse Gwacie http://gabbygracie.blogspot.com/
thank you  and
smoochie kisses

If I had DEPENDABLE internets I would help your sister Gracie out. Alas... I do not and would not be a good choice. However, I am sure that there is some Kitty out there that DOES have what is needed to lend a paw fur those in need.

OH MY that chicken soup looks sooooo tasty... just a HINT of Apron.
Hope your mom and dad appreciated the nice soft Hanky Pankies. Can't have THEM rushing about with Rudolph Noses can we?

We would help out with the auction, but momma told me something about, "knowing your limits" which I think means she is too worried about doing the taxes to do anything else.

The soup! Oh baby! Did I see brussels sprouts in there? Nom!

Look at that soup!!! Mom never thought about adding mushrooms to hers. Bet you made Mom and Dad feel so much better with that delicious dinner and dessert.

Although you and Gussie didn't get that quiet night by the fire, we think you had a lot of fun with the Holy Terriers too. How can one not have fun when they come along:)

Asta...something's wrong with Mumsie...she's chokin' and rollin' on the floor...had something to do with Gussie in a sweater...(why the heck is that funny...somethin' bout the watch on his furry arm...and then that pic of me tryin' to strangle Scruffy...she started rollin' again. Course I THINK I LOOK ADORABLE. So Stan ate the Scrabble tiles...no wonder why I could never get a good word...

That chicken soupie looks amazing...!! Stan may be ready for some tomorrow...washer is still goin'...

Kisses and lovely photos, my dear. I so hope we didn't bother you and Gussie...oh...could you put a pillow at the bottom of that fireplace? It was a bit hard to land on....
