There's nothing like New York pizza all right. We're out in California now and the pizza here is NOT the same!

Asta, we think you are so lucky to be able to go into the stores in the big city. We go on errands with Moma, but we wait in the car most of the time. We like that, so don't get us wrong. We're not complaining. But to see man in kins and go for rides in shopping carts and on moving stairs and revolving doors. How cool is that!?

You look so pretty and fluffy and white. But your spots disappeared! Do you think they'll come back? I hope so. We were like twins when you had 'em!

It's getting late. I'd better get my beauty sleep. Moma said she'd try hard to help us catch up on our reading and writing tomorrow. We are so far behind. But I keep tellin' Moma it's hard to write with crossed paws. And we can't uncross them yet. We're hoping for good news about Snickers tomorrow. And we hope that Sophie's brother Graham is going to be okay. One thing, it's GREAT to know that Max is home, recovering from his surgery. That's GOOD news!

We love you pretty sissie,
Fergi (and sleeping Jake)

Sunny is definitely nicer than rain...it's getting cold-ish here for Malaysian weather, and I'm not liking it =(

That pizza looked yummy though! Did you manage to finish all of it? *wink*

It's great to hear Max's surgery went well, and Snickers is still going strong...we'll keep thinking good healing thoughts for them both too.

Hi Asta

I am not one of those old fellows who thinks that pretty young lasses cannot understand science, so let me explain to you about the New York weather. First - global warming (the greenhouse effect), second, plate tectonics, and thirdly, minor variations in the tilt of the earth's axis. All these effects may be combining in very complex and particular ways to give you a sunny November in New York!

Oh, and isn't it good news about Max!

Cheers, H.

You are so good at hypnotising the pizza into coming to you! My Monty wants to know if you can teach him to do that!!

We have been purring and praying for Miss Snickers.

Clive said...

Oh Asta, I'm very jealous! I love pizza but usually only get the crusts from the not-so-little man!

The weather in New York is truly amazing for November! We have friends going over on Friday for Thanksgiving and some retail therapy and they assumed the weather would be much colder!

Keeping our paws crossed for Snickers!

take care

We're afraid the rain will come today - it is in the forecast for us to have an 80% chance. Of course the weather man is often wrong.

WOW!! That pizza sure looked tasty.

Ah, pizza in New PYork City on a beautiful sunny day in November - how great was that!!! So glad to see you got a slice too. All we have is cold and rainy days, not even a bit of snow.

We are so glad to see that Max had a good report and that Miss Snickers is still working hard at getting better.

Sweet Asta,
Your errands with Mommi looked so fun! Places here are not as dog-friendly as they are in NY. I'm jelly! And that PIZZA!? Will your mommi and daddi adopt me?

I am praying harder than ever for Miss Snickers. Maybe today's update will be better...

Oh Asta... this has our mom horribly, HORRIBLY homesick for good NY/NJ pizza.

So considerate of your humans to get you your own slice and not make you beg like a doggy! under the table. We don't care if it's warm in Denver as long as there's lots of snow on the mountains.

Hi Asta - the rain and cold is all over here, and it does not look like it is going anywhere fast (it came over to welcome us from the sunny Sydney Summer - brrrr!) Don't forget to get ready for Christmas, though!

You're not complaining about the nice sunny weather are you? It will be cold and rainy and slushy soon enough...and I'll be at the beach! hehehehe. Don't think I'll miss Mom tugging boots on me for the late night walk. And I'm only packing one sweater and that's just for show! You'll have to come visit.

Hey there Asta baby-shoes!
You are looking really good, gal!! I love the sprinkle of Autumn in the colour of your coat!
Okay, here's a thing...don't go complaining about the weather! Afterall, you want to live in that upside down world! If you want to live the right side up, then you must come and live with me here in South Africa. Unfortunately you will have to go without snow here too.
Take care and tell your Momma that my mom says thank you for all the wonderful wishes, comments, prayers, warmth that has come our way recently. We love you guys! Also tell your Momma that my mom still wants to sit on that bench with a cuppa...maybe even pizza!

We love seeing your life in New York - it is so different from ours in Scotland.
You are just so cosmopolitan Asta - we feel like country bumpkins!
Thank you for sharing your fun walk in New York.
Oh we were telling Petey this morning that we had a share of our mum's New York bagel - it was so yummy we may need to relocate!!!!
