A Vewy Special DAY

I was tense all weekend, wowwying about all my fwiends who awen't well..
Max, who is going to have suwgewy on Monday,
Eduawdo, who is battling a stwange tewwible disease, fwiends who cwossed ovew the wainbow, and Miss Snickews , my sweet cousin , who almost left us this week.

Snickews aweady had hew bags packed fow hew twip ovew the wainbow.
We wefoosed to give up hope, and Snickews showed what a stwong and detewmined giwl she is, despite fighting the seezoowe monstew on top of hew possible C.

My sissie Fewgi and Bwuvvew Jake owganised a vewy special wowld wide moment fow hew. I kept thinking, this just has to wowk..we have to use all ouw paw powew to help evewyone.

Daddi headed ovew to my bwuvvew Duffy's house

it was a soggy satuwday

he took these pictoowes wif his phone as he walked thwoo Washington Squawe Pawk to get him

his Mom, Auntie Kawen has the floo, and we thought it might help hew if she could stay in bed and we bwought him to ouw house

this is no weathew to go out in when you'we feeling poowly

Daddi passed this cheeky squiwwel..he was lucky, Daddi didn't have Duffy wif him yet

the little guy came ovew and wanted food..Daddi didn't have any sowwy, hope you find some nuts
..at least he didn't become Duffy's snackie

Duffy awwived..we did zoomies fow a while and then got weady fow ouw impawtant moment

we jumped up on the sofa facing towawds Iowa

we wewe vewy newvous
( well I was anyway..Duffy is mowe laid back)

The alawm Mommi had set went off, and we had ouw 30 seconds of silence..Mommi held me, Daddi held Duffy, and we all sent ouw healing , loving thoughts and pwayews floating thwough the sky..we thought of evewyone and hoped that pain and huwt and sadness would go away

aftew that we wan awound and bawked happily
(Mommi was unable to get it on film..she's clutzy sometimes, hehehehe)

then it was time to send ouw kisses wafting on a bweeze in theiw diwection
(again, Mommi twied to get it on film and I'm quite embawwased by hew wesults..but she gets A fow effowt)

This is a mowe accoowate pictoowe of the kisses on the bweeze

It was a magical few minutes..we felt one wif all ouw fwiends all ovew the wowld..
thinking the same thoughts, wishing the same dweam..
We felt it, weally we did

The powew of the paw and good intentions

I know that all ouw fwiends feel the love and the concewn and it will help.
They will continoo to be in ouw heawts and we will keep sending the zen.

It's a long woad ahead, and none awe out of the woods yet, but I believe they will be.

Smoochie kisses to all of you fow being the loving cawing fwiends that you awe..
We awe lucky to be pawt of such a commoonity of love

today, the sun is coming out..

(As she hands mom a Kleenex) Sunny says: That was beautiful Asta. We went outside, all of us together. We went with plenty of time so Mom could calculate the direction of Ioway from where we were(she even got a map out and it still took her a bit...sheesh)
At 5 we all did our silence and then near the end of the minute I barked, tried to get the little guy to bark too, but he is kinda clueless. Scooter did though (uh, mom howled to try to make the new guy join in...the neighbors more than likely think she is nuts..they would be right!) Then we blew kisses and it did feel like we felt something very special. What a great idea it was, and what a great group of folks we are blogging buddies with!! Now about that squirrel....are all New York squirrels like that??? Because if they are, I'd have a chance of realizing my dream. CATCHING one!!!
Hope Aunty Karen feels better the soonerest! Oh and Asta Dahling, I believe I saw all the way up into your brain through your nose when Aunty Ami was videoing your kiss!
Many Hugs
We love y'all
Sunny

Asta Sissie. We are so glad you and Duffy were together to send a double dose of wishes and kisses from NYC yesterday. That walk that Daddi took through the park was beautiful, and must've really helped him to set the mood. It looked like a really peaceful feeling. Even the squirrely was calm (but we know that city squirrels are a different sort of breed.) Good for you for checking the time and getting it just right! Just like us, you pointed to Iowa and sent your love. (We stayed inside, too, on the big bed, 'cause it was snowing hard and we wanted to be able to put ALL our attention on sending the healing vibes to Snickers and all the others needing some extra love and support.) We thought about you when we blew our kisses, wondering if they might arrive at about the same time as yours. We totally believe that yesterday brought a feeling of closeness and community to a WHOLE BUNCH of doggies and kitties and their families. How could it NOT? Now we all just need to remember that we are ALWAYS HERE for each other. You know what? Maybe we need to do this every year. An anniversary, you know? And everyone send the wishes and kisses to ALL our friends! We can blow the kisses straight up to the Dog Star! I'm putting it on Moma's calender. An ANNUAL Worldwide Moment. What do you think?

Love
Your SissieFergi and BruvverJake xxoo

Like I told my sweetie Rubykins, I just KNOW this week is gonna bring better things for Miss Snickers!

My mom said a prayer for the sweet lady and also all the doggies out there who are in pain, or whose owners are in pain. Right now her eyes are a little leaky.....

Even on the bad weather days the photos of NY are beautiful. That is one nice place to live.
So glad to hear that Snickers decided to stay and not to go to the bridge. Your evening prayers for healing have paid off. Never underestimate the power of prayer. Will keep praying for return health for all of those that you know are not feeling well.
