What a lovely deck. The plants are beautiful. I bet a boy dog would have a real good time there. It's a good thing that Petey stayed home.

That blue stuff was cole slaw? Hmmmm. Very interesting.

hi Asta, that was a beautiful post, the words and the pictures and the thoughts - we were touched.

we looked up into our sky and looked for Jolson. we thought we saw someone winking. your mommi did a beautiful portrait.

we are still sending vibes to Jackson and Randi and some other friends - humans and dogs. there's so much sadness and worries now. we want to be happy and care free, but how can we when others are suffering? we are barking for a day when all creatures and humans will be healthy and happy.

woofs.

Hey Asta. What a peacful and bootiful place for all the 2 leggededs to hang out and spend some time- and the food- yum! I'm sad that Unkle Tony had to say goodbye to Jolson but he did look happy up in billowy clouds. And your Mom's pawtrait of Jolson is purrrrrrrfect as usual.

I'm glad to se you and Petey only had lock jaw over a small ball - wonder what would have happened if it had been the big hooge one? Hehehehe!!

Mom says you were the most pawfect house/shed guest, you can come over any time you want to. And to thank you for making your bed and tidying up after all the messy boys. She appreciated you putting the pupcake paper cases into the recycle bin and for licking the dog bowls clean before loading them into the dishwasher. She hopes you wore the orange roses print apron she left out for you so you didn't get your nurses uniform dirty?

Astaroni!

That is the most FABulous way for Unkel Tony & Unkel Mark to spend the day while they're sad. I'm sure it was good to have your crazy mommi, daddi & Auntie Jane with them. And, Jolson came too. How pawfect!

I think it is hilarious that you and Petey are constantly locked in battle over one of his balls. Does he ever go anywhere without it? Is it his security ball?

I just caught up with Finnegan (the Irish Woflhound) and his mama, and saw that he crossed the Bridge. He was such a brave and gorgeously goofy boy! Sounds like he gave therapy to his mama like my girl's Rosie pup gave to her. I will miss him!

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
