Final day in Lawn Gisland

I took a snoozette in the living woom while I waited fow the hoomans to get weady

it was a pawfect summew's day..whipped cweam clouds in a blue , sunny sky wif a little bweeze

I looked all awoundand stawted focoosing on the watew

I noticed that they had a pet dolphin who was spitting watew in the flowew gawden..he looked vewy happy

I checked out all the flowews and saw which needed pwuning and watewing

meanwhile Mommi had gone ovew to a beach on Fiwe Island wif the little putput boat , to go swiming..Daddi says she's weally a duck..she loves watew sooo much, and it was the fiwst time this summew she wasn't complaining about how much she hates the heat


aftew she came back, she took an outdoow showew, and was weady fow Daddi's gwand plan

pawdon me fow the quality of the videos, but Mommi can't film and twy to catch me at the same time, and she was afwaid of me being off leash and maybe escaping fwom the yawd which is not fenced in



I came out looking like a dwowned wat( my oosooal appeawance when I'm all wet)
I think it was wude of my pawents to show me like this, but I have to admit..
I'm hooked..I loved swimming!!!
the onliest bad thing is aftewwawds I got captoowed and mawched into the outdoow showew..Mommi said if the salt watew dwied on me I would be itchy

I was ehausted and went back inside fow a nap...
latew that day..we took the twain home and that's the end of my mini vacation on Lawn Gisland

Day two on Lawn Gisland-Sailing on a CAT????????

Sowwy but we'we not having Wheeley Wednesday today..Mywna left to be wif Gilbert and we haven't heawd a thing fwom hew..I hope they have ways of weviving hew in Pitz buwg ..I feaw fow hew sanity and life at that house

I asked Mommi to continue telling you about my twip last weekend to Lawn Gisland..I wote the scwipt fow hew befowe I left..all she had to do was type and put in the pictoowes

As soon as I woke up..I went out to look awound, it was a yucky day..gwey and ovewcast, and dweawy





I went wight back in and took a nap on the chaiw, and watched while it wained....I figoowed the day was going to be a wash out, hehehe


But while I snept..it stopped waining...of couwse ,evewything was wet, when I woke up fwom my nap, but the sun had come out and it looked lots bettew

I went out to watch unkel S put his wind suwfing stuff away, and get out the boat wif the sails

I watched auntie Kawen watew

and Mommi act silly while we played ball
unkel S said the CAT was weady so come and boawd

hehehe I bet you thought I meant anothew kind of CAT..it's sailboat..I have no idea why it's called a cat..(maybe Mica can tell me??)..only auntie Kawen and Mommi went wif him

It suwe looked like fun..they went floating away, and no noisy engine..blisss

Daddi said "come on ASTA we should twy this too"

but I went anyway..and you know what?? It was gweat fun..I felt like I was flying

But I've always been good wif Cats, so I don't know why anyone was suwpwised

Daddi cawwied me so I wouldn't get all yucky befowe dinnew, cause I suwe didn't want a baf mowe than once this weekend..and he said I would have to baf if I got wet

We had some veggies and lamb all gwilled...yummmmmm, but as soon as I was finished I fell asneep..sailing is hawd wowk.
of couwse I went fow my last walk and looked at the dogstaw and made my wish...

Last yeaw I was dawed by Sophia(Diva Kitty, and her Buns_ Orlando and Fiona) to be theiw NOMSSfwiend....of couwse I gladly accepted

I've been on some fantastic adventoowes with my kitty fwiends this yeaw..I'm suwe you've seen them, and know them..(Karl,Mrs. Oz, Ruis, Opus and Roscoe, the Taylor Catsssss, Socks and his sistews Scylla and Charybdis, My sissies Momo and Sassy, just to name a few...as the yeaw went by I kept meeting and liking mowe and mowe)
I can't possibly name them all..pleeze fowgive me if you got left out..I love all of you and soo appweciate how you've wallied awound my sick fwiend Jackson, and given him youw encouwagement and puwws fow his wecovewy.


Yestewday I was asked by Socks ,Scylla and Charybdis to be theiw NOMS fwiend, and join them and othew fwiends fow a pawty to celebwate Noms day in theiw bootiful buttewfly gawden..they said since I like to swim, we should hold the pawty neaw theiw pond, and Myrna was invited too.

a weekend on Lon Gisland, and NOMSF day

On Fwiday, Jackson said he was feeling like his old self, and wanted to spend some quality time wif hes fwiend Seamus, and J1 andJ2...
also, my pawents wewe kind of lonely.....so I decided to wun home fow the weekend and spend some time wif them

Some tewwific fwiends had invited us out to Lon Gisland fow the weekend..so we wushed to Penn Station, met up wif auntie Kawen, and took the supew cwouded twain wif evewyone twying to leave the city..heheheh (it took us about 2hws.)

We got to ouw fwiendses house just in time fow cocktails at 6:00
I wan to the window to see theiw view wight away, and asked to be let out

I was tied to a long wope so I could admiwe evewything till the hoomans made the hows doovwes and dwinks





Daddi helped me get wid of the stiffness fwom being in a bag on the stoopid twain

and thewe is a little dock..so you can  jump in the little boat fwom it

by now I had wowked up an appetite and thoughtfully shawed Daddi's salami( I don't want my pawents to get too much fattew)
the sky was getting pink...and so ouw hosts suggested we go look at the sunset fwom the watew

Unkel S couldn't believe some of the jokes I told..you can see auntie Kawen enjoyed them too

My Daddi came and held me tight..I'd nevew been in a boat befowe wif hoomans, and I had no lifewest, but he said if I jumped in..he'd jump wight aftew me and save me

it was bootiful

I didn't know which way to look..I loved it!

the wind and spway in my face felt sooo good..I felt like I was that guy in the movie Titanic(only I'm a giwl of couwse)

that was my favowite owngey -pink cloud

it was getting dawkew, so we headed back to showe and theiw house..so we could have dinnew

I had a supewb time!!!!

I watched while unkel S docked the boat and inspected evewything

then I saw this monstew of the deep...It was definitely time to go inside

but aftew dinnew, I went out fow my last walk, and like evewy night..I made my wish on the dog staw..Fow Jackson, and all my sick fwiends
