It's been days and days since I had a chance to go out and wun
I just get mini walks to the cuwb to go peepee ow poop, then we wun back in befowe we pass out
I got lucky and some fwiends invited me to LonGisland fow a couple of days
I quickly packed and took a cab to Penn Station
I plan to sit in the watew all day and maybe even wun a little

Omd...I had to quick hit click so the Lacie could be firstest...how cool it this???? You look pawsitively adorable in your outfit and heels...um...aren't your feet killin' ya in those??? I've been in short linen purple shorts with a white linen ruffled blouse all week...and am still have cooked.

Oh, we are so jealous - it is incredibly hot here too, and no relief in sight - have lots of fun and stay cool. Mom says she has fond memories of some summer fun on Rockaway Beach when she was a very young child.

Oh dear. We heard your trip got cancelled ... and we were so happy imagining you on the beach. We're hoping that, at least, you can find an icy cold drink and a nice bowl of ice cream can help bring relief.

We hope Mommi and Daddi pull the blinds so it is dark and cool in the house and easier on their headaches. Be sure they (and you) drink lots of water and put ice at the back base of their necks (it relaxes the head muscles and lessens the ache). Take lots of naps. Rent some fun Annette Funicello/ Frankie Avalon Beach Blanket movies to make you laugh. Spread a blanket on the floor and have an inside picnic (momma did that with us last week when it was dreadfully hot...we had a dinner picnic of shrimp cocktail, and chicken ceasar salad. And then when everyone is back to snuff and the weather is less torrid, reschedule your wonderful weekend on the Island. Sending White Dog woos.
You look stunning as always. I hope this getaway is just the cure for the summertime-relentless heat blues!
