Hoo Boy...I just came back in the room...I had to go and plug my ears and hide in the closet...Mumsie seems to be all teary eyed and PASTRY OTIC about those videos...frankly, I'd just rather eat the pastries but well a girl must watch her figure.

What time should I arrive to finish the Schlag?

Save me the big spoon....and can you put the spoon in the freezer for me? I have a few eye bags, plus it makes the Schlag taste better...tell your mom to just grow a little fur under her eyes...spoon works pawfectly then...

RED WHITE AND BOO!! KISSES

And off to the bath...

Asta, how lucky you are to be able to watch the show from your very own living room! I'd love having everybody watch from inside our house. It all seems so Metropolitan! I heard that this year the fireworks in New York were extra special because it was the anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. We had a big show here, too. The one in the city that Mom and Dad went to Monday night was the biggest one in our state, but I was at home sleeping!

That's one time that I was happy to NOT be there Asta. I would have had a heart attack with all those boomies outside the window. Mum says she is impressed at your "box office" view, as thinks you could have charged people to watch it from your apartment ;-)

Glad it's over. Wouldn't it be good if they could make quiet fireworks!!!

Wow...I feel like a real coward. Except we was outside and the fireworks was real close. And there was three sets we could see. So - maybe next year we will stay in Virginia, I think.

The food looks wonderful. I think I caught the 'splosive butt thing from Mango Man.

More tomorrow from Mayemphis

You had a marvelous view to watch all of the bursts and streamers of color shouting out the joy of our country's independence day. Looking out over your gorgeous city with the reflective lights on the river, must have stirred the soul to realize what a great Land this is. We are SO lucky and fortunate.

Patrick and I love the 4th of July so much. BabyRocketDog is very timid around loud noises though, and we were staying at a hotel in Kalispell, Montana, so didn't get to see any live fireworks because we didn't want to leave the pooches alone there. SOoooo, thank your dear mommy for us, that we got to enjoy her wonderful videos!! These were some of the best fireworks I have ever seen. I loved the way they all were choreographed and in sync. Just beautiful. Thank you again and again. Love & a sratch behind the ears, Cassie

First of all, Asta, I am SO very much happy that you were able to talk your mommi into not giving up your bloggie. You both mean SO much to us and BlogVille wouldn't be the same without you!

Second of all, those were some awfully pretty and spectacular fireworks where you live. Can you believes my mom and dad went to bed and didn't watch a single firework? But then, we don't haves the view that you do AND Brudder Ranger doesn't like them. Uh...but don't tell him I told you that, okay?

I'm Most Glad you had such a luvly 4th of July!

Hi, Asta -

We enjoyed looking at all of the fireworks you (your Mom or Dad) posted.

They are beautiful, but I (Hershey) am afraid of them because of the noise. Kaci is much more tolerant of them.

Hope you and your family had a great 4th of July!

Love -

Hershey and Kaci
