my most genewous BFF

My most thoughtful and genewous BFF Lacie heawd that Mommi has not been well

what wif hew toof falling out and then the dentist  digging awound in hew head fow the woot and stuffing in some bone and shew not being allowed to evew smoke again and not being able to talk ow eat anything but mooshy fat ning stuff

but hewe I go dee Gwessing again

the point is, Lacie figoowed  she could use some yummies so
she sent a hooge cawwot fow me to make a soop fow Mommi

the cawwot was not vewy willing to get into the soop pan

I made a video of me convincing it

I finally plopped it in wif the dead chicken and cown like Lacie suggested

and set it on the stove
Lacie wanted me to add some cat chop , but that sounded dweadful to me
so I just added peamut buttew and cheese  and livew..I love those things , so i figoowe Mommi will too
and a little watew

I just know this will make hew lots bettew and as a Peace  duh Wesist Dance
Lacie also sent a bootiful layewed cake
(she pwetasted the fwosting and a shoowes me it's wondewful)

Pleez keep being patient wif my vewy slow  wesponse to all youw pawfect bloggies
Mommi is getting bettew(can talk wif a lisp, and even sowt of eat in public, hehehe..she's dee tewmined to be in good shape fow the DWB weunion in a few weeks)

Our Mom says that if your Mommi had any kind of dental work and the dentist said not to smoke - she might want to give up drinking through a straw too - just knock 'em back - it'll make the pain go away faster anyway.

We hope she's feeling better soon.

Oh Asta. When we started reading this ... we were focused on your healing pawrers with your mommi. And we're so happy you could be there with your carrot and your chicken to make some special soup for her. But as we wrote this, we had a slight emotional breakdown in our household. Could you please share your amazing recipe with Moma? Do you think it could help heal a broken heart? OurGirl needs some of your pawfect nurturing and your smoochies kisses (in addition to all the ones we're trying our best to deliver.) Fast. Moma is putting out an all call for zen. And whatever else it is that helps at this stage of emotional development.

(Sorry to be so self focused ... but we hoped you'd understand.)

Sigh. Sniff. But happy MommiAmi is feeling a bit better ... cause of you.

Chef Asta, I'm sure your special soup recipe will make your mom feel much better! I hate teeths. They cause nothing but troubles for cats, dogs and peoples. They might have been designed incorrectly.

Asta that's so nice of you to make your mom the soup, it looks very nice, your are so thoughtful. Give your mom a big kiss from me and hope she feels better soon

Martha said...

Hi Asta, that carrot was just the most thoughtful gift - we loved seeing your preparing it for the pot!
We know your mom is going to just love the soup that you are making for her.
Our mum says to tell yours that she sometimes thinks half her life has been spent at the dentist with one disaster or another!
Truly she could write a book so she does empathise - we don't know what that means!
Yes chocolate slips down so easily and oh how you need comfort!
Take care of your mom Asta - lets hope Jeannie (Marvin's blog) doesn't get sight of that carrot.
She will be comparing it with hers at the allotment and it might make her feel worried!
love and kisses

Oh no! Now that both you and your Mommi are lisping, I'll never understand you! Hope this ailment doesn't spread to Daddi.

Glad to hear your Mommi's feeling better. I'm recovering nicely from my injuries but will probably still have a silly bald patch when our friends arrive. Maybe I can borrow a wig?

Your pal,
