hi Asta, it's nice when they take you with them, but it's sad when you don't get any snacks. that's a cool place with the couch outside. we would like to take a nap on it.

you're such a good dog to hang out with your peeps like that. we could never do that. we would jump up and bark on all of the passersby and doggies. you have better manners.

woofs.

We hope there were treats at home too!

We have something for you, in memory of your good friend Roscoe. Stop by when you can.

No feastables for you?! Not fair! If I Sit Like Good Boy I'll sometimes get a nibble at the end of a meal. It's the bestest part!

Let me know if you ever see my cousin out and about in New York! Actually... I think he's in a far-off land called Brooklyn. Well... if you ever see a wee chihuahua, white and tan and brown, named Lilly, she's Big Pupi's girlfriend. Give her a good sniff for him!

I am sorry you had a wrotten outing. Maybe tomorrow they will take you to a special place that has special treats for a special girl Terrier.

OMD Asta...how rude! But I have to say that place looked really fun...there was a sofa right on the sidewalk? That is way cool!

Lots of Licks, Ruby

P(ee)S - Mommi's hairs look so pretty and so do Auntie Karen's - woot!!!

They have sofas on the Outside! That's cool!

I think both your mom and auntie Jane have cute hair-dos.

I can see that you are watching out for evil doers and protecting daddi and auntie jane. I notice your eagle eyes taking in all around you. And for this you got no dessert!
Tell mommi that Grammie was looking at her paintings in the DWB store and adores the birches. She likes the use of color. Grammie loves trees, but I have never once seen her leave a pee mail on one.

Hi Asta Sweetie! Aside from the fact that you had no eatables(what's up with that?!?!?) it looked like such a nice outing. My Mom wants to come to New York to see y'all. She was there one time about a hundred years ago when her Air Force family was returnig from a tour of duty in Greece and they took a ship back. Mommy says even as a youngster, she cried when she saw "the Lady" Mom loves her. Anyway, she wants to visit you someday. It does look like such a cool city and they say alot more friendly than when Mom was there. We love auntie's hair color and your Mom's too!
Love,

What -- no treats for you? That's no fair.. and I've never seen a couch on a sidewalk before.
Mom would like to have her hair done, too. I think she should have it permed to look like mine!

Rudy

Dear Dr. Asta,
Thanks for the barkday wish, it meant a lot to me.
Your outing looked exactly what I experienced...in my dream. Oh New York! New York! Upscale girls! If only it was one lick away!
Cheers!

Hi, Asta -

You were able to go and you didn't get anything to eat? No fair!

Your Mommi could have at least given you some water - you are such a good watchdog. We hope you have a good weekend.

Hi, Asta!
I am thinking the only good thing with that time there was you could say hello to some of your friends!
Looks like your Mom, Dad and Auntie had a great time!
I hope you got lots of treats when you got back home!

How cool is that! I want one of those places where I live. I want people to see me as a real kiddo!!! How does it feel to be allowed to hang at restuarants?
Bad mommy, daddi and auntie for not giving you and eatables. That is against the dog law constitution....article 5....section 1. Seriously. Demand your rights girl!!!

Your the best,
Willow

Asta - You look so sophisticated sitting at that table, even if you didn't get a bite of yummies. But I know that doesn't make your tummy feel any better... I hope you got lots of treats when you went home :)

Sweet Fuzzaroni AstaButt!

You looked so inviting there on the sidewalk ~ all fluffy and ready to kiss & wrassle. I bet you brought in TONS of business for them!

It's so weird that noone shared with you. Your mommi, daddi & Auntie Jane are usually such polite and gregarious hoomans! You'd think they would have at LEAST been shooting food out of their mouths with all the belly laughing they do during their snack time.

At least you got to spread around a little Asta love to you pup friends! That's important! (I would come to NYC just to get a snuggle and a smooch ~ you know that, right?)

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

Dear Dr. Asta,
Thanks for caring, I live in Richarsdon, a suburb of Dallas, about 300 miles north of Galveston.(Recently, Richardson ranked as the 18th best place to live in the United States in the August issue of Money magazine, hehe)
We expect to have heavy rain(2"-4") and strong winds may exceed 30 mph by noon.
I stay safe, love you Asta.
Cheers!

Next time maybe they could order you a little dish of ice cream or creme fresh or a cookie??? Something????
Maybe they forgot because of all that wine-ing.
Oh well, at least you got to go along.

You have so much fun there in the summer, we are jealous! Sorry they took something totally good and ruined it by pouring bad chocolate all over it!

Koobuss said...

Oh kousin Asta,

Sometimes you get no respect. It is terrible how they torture you. Don't they know that you have rights, too? Maybe you should complain to the Association of Grumpy Fox Terriers, (AGFT). They can help you, even if it is only to teach you how to use the silent treatment. (I am very good at it sometimes.)

Frederick's Downtown looks like a fabulous place. NYC is just so cool. Living there must be lots of fun.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Kousin Koobie
