Thank you so much for inviting me to the pawty..I had the bestest time talking to all my friends..I met a whole bunch of new ones( I hope they'll remember me and come sign my book and talk to me)..and of course all my doggie pals who I already knew, and FUFU too....I ate too much, and drank too much, and my pawsies are tired from all the writing, but boy was it fun...here I'm just getting the last of my "martini" from my glass...and after all the cheese(which I love!), I also had cake...let's do it again!!!!!XOXOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXOXO

SO, Here's the deal...I made a big fuss for nothing..it took only two hours, and I got an A- for behavior, which is excellent for my very first time ever. I only tried to bite aunt Beth half-heartedly a couple of times, and the rest of the time, I was surprisingly good...and now, well now I don't look like a cute fuzzy bear any more,but I don't mind too much..Mummy says I'm still an adorable "pupcake"????? and Daddy says I look like a grown up terrier girl...thanks to all my friends for their many words of encouragement..it gave me hope that I'd survive..You are all the bestXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO smoochie kisses to all of you ASTA

So my Mummy finally caught me, and threw me in the bathtub , I struggled like mad, I had just gotten the right amount of stinky slime from all my friends all over me, but the hooman obsession with bathing won out...poor Asta, now I smell like some kind of flower or something. Don't get me wrong, I like flowers, and how they smell, but I'M A PUPPYDOG!!!!!!!!A FOX TERRIORIST!!!!!!!! not a flower ,oh well, this isn't even the worst of it, Tomorrow..........the dreaded haircut....if I survive, I'll have Mummy take a picture, so you can see what I look like naked, and just when I wanted to look my best for the Pawty...doesn't seem fair...I hope all you guys will still like me anyway, crossed paws, and smoochie kisses ASTA

Aside from the bootiful flowers, what I like about spring,is we walk around a lot, and get to say hi to every doggie and person we meet, plus we can sit outside and eat!!!!!! this place has my favorite french fries..they call them frites, 'cause it's a french bistro..they're always nice to me there, but I have to really behave and have good table manners, and not jump up and grab stuff...they bring me a bowl of water right away, especially when it's warm out..my Mummy and Daddy split a burger and "frites" and each have a martini..don't worry, they don't drive, we just walk two blocks to get home to snooze.

My street gets really pretty in the spring, the cherry trees blossom, when the petals fall, it looks like pink snow,xcept you can't make snow-angel-puppys in it..but it smells good

Finally the sun is out!!!!!Hurrah! I went to the run,where I had a great time running like a maniac..my Daddy even took a video, but I don't know how to put it on my blog...I hope I'll figure it out soon, but in the meantime I wanted you to see my good friend Maggie. She's quite old, but so very patient with all us wild puppys, so I like to go give her smoochie kisses on her eyes and nose and ears, just so she knows I love her, and she's included in all the fun we're having...gotta go play some more....I'm so happy it's not raining any more.XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOOX ASTA

new career

I'm very excited, I made a new discovery!
You might remember that for some time now(after all I'm
almost 7 months old), I've been trying to decide on various
careers....for a time I thought I'd be a painter like my mummy,but I prefer to mush the paints on myself and eat the drop cloth, rather than on the canvas....then I thought I might be a pianist, but apparently, you have to practice a lot, and I'm not all that disciplined......but Eureka! I think I finally found something I truly love to do, and am willing to work on forever......I'm going to be a surgeon!!!!!!!
I got the nasty squeaky out of the reindeer's belly, in no time flat....of course, I had to take all the rest of the guts out to get to it...but that doesn't seem relevant....I think I have a great career ahead of me.

so today my Mommy thought we could finally go for a walk that was more than run to the curb and pipi...so we set out to do a couple of errands in our neighborhood...we only got one block before it started drizzling again, but we kept going..on the next block there was a film crew(this happens a lot in our neighborhood lately, cause it's supposed to be hot ever since something called "sex in the city"...anyway, this time they were filming Law and Order SVU..and we saw Mariska Hargitay..this was cool 'cause she's sort of Hungarian like my Mommy...except she wasn't born there..my Mommy was haha....so we said "szia"..that means Hi..so all in all it was worth getting out and soaked, but then we ran home and now we're going to snooze ZZZZZZZZZZ, cause my tummy is upset, and Mommy is still woozy from her flu.....talk to you later,kissesASTA
