I saved all my enewgy fow only one event today

 SWIMMING :SAWGE

 I stawted my swimming caweew on a small scale at my old NewYawk City wun in the small pool

 

it was fwightening at fiwst(too much like a baf), but once I wealized the wefweshing coolness of watew on a summew's day, thewe was no stopping me

I swam in lakes and the Ocean and anywhewe I coold

 I would jump wight in

 I even pawticipated in welay swimming events in the past

 and twied my paws at suwfing wif gweat success

but since moving to Outew Space Boo da Pest

my swimming has been sadly cuwtailed

stwange fow a city that pwides itself on all its natoowal hot spwings and many outdoow pools, as well as the Danoobe and the neawby hooge Lake Balaton,

thewe awe vewy few places fow woofies to do theiw twaining fow this event

 I know the competishun will be fiewce wif many vewy talented fuwwkids swimming theiw heawts out

I am just thwilled I qualified to pawticipate

LAKE BALATON

Hewo sweet fwiends,

This past weekend, my Pawents and I went to spend the weekend visiting fwiends at Lake Balaton

 It's the lawgest fwesh watew lake in Centwal Oowope and Mommi used to spend evewy summew thewe when she was a little giwl

The nowf showe is hew favowite, wif many bootiful towns and vineyawds all along the showe, so that was ouw destination

We took the twain fwom Boo da Pest (it's kind of old , so it takes fuwwevew)

I had to buy a ticket and so did Mommi, but Daddi gets to go fow fwee(Mommi will in about a yeaw too,  cause they'we old, hehehehe)

we spent ouw time walking lots

making some new fwiends

 finding places to eat

and finally, Mommi got to go and swim in the silky watews of the lake

This was anofew pawfect day in Upstate NewYawk
aftew a mowning swim,we went to toow Ithaca and Cownell Oonivewsity whewe ouw host unkel Billy and aunts Elizabef and Ginny awe fwom owiginally.
Theiw Pawents taught at Cownell when they wewe young. We weally wanted to see theiw hometown

We had a gweat toow, and saw tons of cool things..they have lots of gowges and watew falls and gawdens and flowews and plants, and umm, some snacks, hehehehehehe

We wewe so lucky,cause ouw new fwiend Lauwen who gave us the toow, just wetiwed fwom being a landscape awchitect fow Cownell and she showed us evewything and we didn't even have to get lost like we oosually do in a new place, hehehehe
we got pwetty hot walking awound Ithaca and stuff, I was vewy happy when we got back and went down to the dock..Hewe's Mommi twying to be all awtsy fawtsy

Can you believe how bwave I was on that waft??I asked to go on it a whole bunch mowe times,but Mommi didn't film it all. She was busy just being thewe to make suwe I was OK and nevew unattended.
Don't wowwy. Even though the watew is vewy deep, and it looks like I was alone faw out, I was nevew in any dangew..I had about six "lifeguawds " standing by always weady to gwab me.

It was glowious!

DAY TWO-Lake Seneca adventoowe

It had wained doowing the night..Big dundew dowms,but I wasn't scawed...I was dweaming of going swimming
the twees and bushes wewe so happy to get all that watew to dwink


finally we got down to the dock whewe we go swimming
my pawents twied to wee cill twain me to come to them fwom the watew instead of wunning all ovew cweation





it tuwned into a pawfect swimmie day..doesn't that watew look soft and inviting?


instead of letting me go in again, the hoomans wewe being all sea woos and "solving" the pwoblems of the wowld.....HELLO!!!! I'd like to swim some mowe!!!!!

Finally they paid some attention to me, but it was all too showt



that bobbing black spot in the distance was Mommi's head, hehehehehehehehe

It's fine fow someone like Bobo, who doesn't even want to go swim..just wun up and down the deck and cheew us on
