Fiwst and only Snow this Yeaw in Boo da Pest

Hewo sweet Fwiends,

I managed to sneeck on the pootew today in between it being in the shop fow constant pwoblems.

I've been bowed out of my mind stuck in the house on gwey cold days

the only fun I have is playing soccew wif Mommi and my tennis ball in the apawtment,
then two weeks ago..stoopid Mommi kicked the foot of a metal chaiw instead of the ball and bwoke, well, maybe only cwacked hew toe.
hew foot tuwned black and boo and she cooldn't walk and cooln't put on shoes....
anyway, that made my life even mowe bowing..(daddi is oosually too busy to play, and besides, I aways take the ball to Mommi)

yestewday, I woke up, and guess what? thewe was fwesh snow...Ooooh, was I happy!
now I know most of you awe sick and tiwed of it in the US and I can't blame you, but, fow me it was miwacooloos.
Mommi fowced hew feets into hew wellies and we went fow a womp
( I womped, she limped)
Daddi , Mommi and I met unkel Chwis fow lunch at ouw favowite cafe Alibi and walked awound the snowy neighbowhood

hewe is a littol smileybox of ouw aftewnoon , I hope you enjoy it

At least you got a little snow to play in and maybe some more will fall. Hmmm maybe your mommy needs to get some football boots so she doesn't hurt herself again :)

So sorry you've been bored. Maybe your mum should walk barefoot in the snow instead of icing her foot....just an idea.

Very creative Smilebox, Asta.

Oh Asta it is wonderful to hear from you, although we are sorry to read about poor Mommi's toe. Really, these sports injuries are too bad - can you believe that one of Gail's younger colleagues actually broke his arm while lifting weights at the gym this week….
Anyway, I think you are so lucky, finally to have some snow. All we have had here in Aberdeen this winter is rain and wind and then more rain and more wind. Boring or what?
You look so smart too, promenading around Boo-da-pest in your elegant orange coat.
You weren't waiting in vain under the table at the cafe, I hope? The food looks super yummy.
Toodle pip!

Hi Asta, It's so good to hear from you and see that you are doing well. Sorry to hear about your mom and your computer being on the fritz. Maybe your mom should learn to throw the ball instead of kick it. We will miss you at the Valentines Dance.

Hi Miss Asta. First off, we are so sorry your mum hurt her foot playing with you. Hope it heals quickly. We loved your photos and they came in the nick of time because we are in the middle of a HEAT WAVE. 43C (109F) predicted for the new three days. Phew. Your snow made us feel so much cooler. Paws crossed your computer is fixed soon! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Hope your Mommi and Daddi can conspire to inspire the repairman to fix the 'pooter. We love love love this Smilebox, and see a new detail every time we watch it!

And don't worry my sweet, we will not miss any events in blogland, but we may not have any pitchoors to share, because those come from your most talented 'pooter and Mommi.

Sending you pitchers of possible cumberbunds for the Valentine Promenade.

How pretty!

Mom just realized she didn't know a lot about Hungary, or Budapest, and just spent an hour reading up on it. It is now on her list of places she would like to visit. What a beautiful place. She is embarrassed she didn't look it up when you all moved there.

Good on Mommi for taking you out for fun in the snow. We has not had any in England, or my part of England anyway. Just wind and rain. I would quite like some!
Glad you had such fun! You deserve it.

Your city is very pretty in the snow. We sort of like the idea that the snow quickly melts before it gets all ugly, grey, and full of icky stuff. And you, sweet friends, are simply adorable in the lovely coat!

Please tell Mommi to take care of that toe. Elevation, ice, and staying out of shoes are all good but if the colors don't go back to Mommi colors or if the pain continues she SHOULD see a doctor. In the meantime, stay intellectually challenged and stay warm.

Woof, Asta, I hope your Mommi is getting better. My hooman can be clumsy too and when she hurts herself I have nobody to play with too!
