Hey Asta,

Loved the smileyboxes and all of the pictures! Mum liked the desserts! (Say, why doesn't she make all of that food? Your lasagna noodles were green! (Jessie - "Silly, they are made from vegetables. Boys!")

More gorgeous photos! I only hope that none of your new Hungarian friends are trying to improve their English language skills by reading your blog, Asta!

Your pal,

P.S. It's still cold and rainy here. No fun! Enjoy the sunshine. Check out my blog for lots of NYC photos!

Fine foods and delightful guests help you survive any season or temperature! It looked like a lovely evening.

Tonight we are having a party, too, to celebrate YoYoMa's Gotcha Day. Dragon and Sen-ge and their humans came over and we had shrimp cocktails (we ALL love shrimp), middle eastern baba ghanous with pita bread (Yo likes his veggies), tomato mint bisque (ffrom Dragon's garden), and cstard parfaits layered with strawberries and mangoes and topped with whipped cream (momma used wider glasses for us so we could reach the bottom haha). It is hot here, too!

Hi Asta!

Gosh, that is weird to have so much heat in May...Can we have some, we are so wet and cold STILL!

We posted an answer to your gardening question of last week! Happy Digging :D

Asta what a lovely pawty and I am sure you were an excellent hostess. Mommy is drooling at the desserts. I hope you got some goodies for all your hard work. I agree with you Asta, humans are so silly sometimes. I hope you are keeping cool. Our weather in Michigan has been crazy. Today it was 85 and last week it was freezing. I don't get it. Take care my sweet pal.

Hi Asta,

We have just looked up the weather for Budapest and a pleased to see that it is a bit cooler now, so perhaps you will go on another of your wonderful long walks through the city this weekend. Gail says she remembers during her short stay in Budapest being taken to some woods just outside the city where there were loads of footpaths and people walking. I am wondering if you have found such a place yet?

The photos of the dinner party were super, and we are so pleased that you all enjoyed an evening with friends. So important in a new place. I must say it all looks very home-like now. You certainly look quite content, snoozing away on the sofa there.

Miss Asta,

The dinner party looks very nice and the lasagna yummy! Mama likes your purple couch - she loves anything purple or violet.

It was super hot here the last few days and then we had crazy storms last night that cooled everything off. We agree the weather has been very moody lately!

Lots of love,

Asta that was such a pretty table you set for your guests. And that lasagna your Mom made was to drool for! What a great evening with furiends :)

Glad you stuck to the shade and drank lots of martinis oh I mean water ;) to keep you hydrated :) It's warmed up here too. Mom took her first dive into the pool yesterday. The water was 81 degrees. Very refreshing :)
