My vewy own wecipe

Mommi is sick
she has a BIG headache , and achy bones, and nooo enewgy, which explains the sowwy state of my bloggie and all my unanswewed fwiends

I wawmed up the bed fow hew and showed hew what she should do, but she keeps jumping up and doing stoopid chowes and stuff, and then she wondews why she can't get bettew..hoomans awe weiwd.
When I don't feel well, I have sense enuff to cuwl up somewhewe cozy and sneep

Then I wemembewed that my vewy thoughtful fwiend Lacie had sent me a tuwkey fow just such an occasion.. so I decided to cook tuwkey soup

then I thought, if a tuwkey would make a good soop, I bet it would be even bettew if I made it a wichew soop wif mowe ingwedients

I added some cown on the cob, a naked chicken, a lobstew, a duck, and gulp (a big sacwifice) my bwand new stwetchy necked ,dememted chicken

just checking on the ingwedientses

this tastes mawvelous..I'm pwetty suwe Mommi will love it and get well in no time

smoochie kisses

Kousin Asta,

Good report. You are doing everything right, kousin Asta, just like a good nurse should. If you need my help, I can be there in no time, nurses's uniform and all.

Hope your mommi is feeling better real soon.

Oh, SissieAsta we are soooo sad to hear that your Mommi doesn't feel well. We know that no one can take better care of her than you and Daddi (but he's working, of course). Your soup sounds like just what she needs, and you thought of all the perfect ingredients. We know you added lots of love and special healing potions, and let it cook long and slowly. Surely you curled up next to Mommi and let her know how much you love her. All those times she has taken such good care of you, and now it's your turn to take care of her. Rest well with her. Sit on her, if you need to, so she won't get up and get back to the things she thinks she needs to do. What she REALLY needs to do is get well.

Give her some smoochie kisses from us.
We love you all,
Bruvver Jake, Sissie Fergi and family xxoo

Asta,

You are so sweet to cook for Mommi - we know that makes her feel better. We would send our nurse Lilly over to help you but she is on a date - had to go stay at his place for a week or so. We hope when she comes back she has some puppies in her belly.

Great job with the soup. Let me know if you need help getting rid of the leftovers! And we second the idea that you sit on Mommi to keep her quiet. Rumor has it that she is one busy lady!

I'm thinking you might need to make a really hoooooooge vat of that stuff and get it ready for transport??!!

I can smell the aroma from here....UM Asta...I'm not much of a cook and I know you've taken all those classes in Paree, but well...

IT'S A REALLY BAD IDEA TO BROWN the RUBBER chicken in the pot before stewing...Scruffy kept sayin' "WHAT'S THAT SMELL??" He thought the brakes had gone bad on our car, but um well...yep...the chicken....I hope he didn't melt...

Is that what ya call POT AU POISON FEU??? Poisson? Can't 'member

Dunno...gotta go and eat lunchie....

Barkies and hooooooooooge kisses to your mommi's joints...in fact, I have a new JOINT Smoothie that I've rustled up for Mumsie...oh..you drink it, not smoke it...most of the time. Actually when my blender burns up, it's at its most effective.

Kisses...Lacie

Asta! I can't believe I missed your birthday. My mom has been so negligent. She never updates my bloggie anymore. She spends way too much time on twitter and working. Stupid work. She briefly got me a farm on Facebook, but then she said didn't have time to be harvesting crops and now she's back to ignoring my bloggie again and sitting on the couch with grading and my brother and getting snuggles. Snuggles are overrated!

We miss you. That soup looks fabulous. Hope your mom feels better.
