  2. Asta, I am so glad that you are out and about with your peeps, enjoying a long walk and experiencing all the sensations of Autumn. Gail and I almost felt we were there with you. (Well to be honest, I'm not sure that Gail, being a human, truly understands the exquisite pleasures that go with sniffing the peemail, but I think you know what I mean).
Oh and I must say, although I personally am not keen on wearing any sort of clothing, I do think that orange knitted sweater looks just perfect on you, dear Asta.

  3. Now that is what memories are made of - beautiful long walks, taking to time to enjoy the colors nature is painting, having a little snack and then a wonderful snooze when you get home - what could be better?

  17. Sweater weather is my favorite season, Miss Asta. Love it...love it! And Budapest makes me see it with fresh eyes. I can almost smell the Fall in the air, feel the crunch of the leaves and see wood smoke undulating from chimneys. Seems that Budapest can make the Fall even more beautiful.
    Happy Sweater Weather Days!

Was that the sweater your mommi knitted and pearled? Harumph...I could fit in that...can she make me one in purple?

  25. Miss Asta,
I think that sun baking on crisp autumn days is the best. We get that hot then cold weather here too. It keeps everybody guessing.

I love your little sweater. Very sporty. The color is quite bold, but you carry it off well.

    Kisses,

  35. You have so beautifully captured the joyful essence of Autumn, dear friend! All of the best parts...the colors, the smells, the tastes, even the lovely sweaters. Long liquid teasing and all the while subtly changing and moving us toward the season of white and grey.

  36. Thanks for such a beautiful post (with gorgeous pictures), Ms. Asta and Asta' peeps! Fall in Budapest looks surprisingly like fall in Ohio:-) But the best part of all is Asta's gorgeous orange sweater!

  38. Hi, Asta -

We enjoyed looking at all of the pictures. Some of them reminded Mama of NYC too. But we know that you live in Boodapest.

However, the colors of your leaves are definitely much prettier than ours (at least in CT). The colors of the leaves look really drab in comparison and there are a lot of green leaves in our back yard.

    Have a great weekend.

    Love -

    Hershey and Kaci

P.S. Mama, Papa and I are taking Kaci and Grammy back to NH today. It's going to be quiet around here without them.
