Sunday Night Dinnew

Sunday nights we have been taking tuwns wif some fwiends  making dinnew and having it togethew..This week was ouw tuwn and I suggested that Osso Bucco wif Wisotto Milanese
would be a gweat fall dinnew..it has all my favowites..Meat, veggables, wice and CHEESE!

Fiwst you bwown the meets,  then wedooce the bwown bits wif wine and pouw off that liquid and save....then saute a bunch of vegebles, then add wedooced sauce and meets and Boo Ket Gawni and Bwof and Chopped tomatoes and stick it in the oven all togethew

Latew you make wisotto (you have to wemembew to have soopew good cheese and add that expensive owange thweady thing in the bwof you use) Sluwp...sxoose me, I get vewy dwooly enthoosed
Of couwse I had to snoopewvise setting the table in Mommi's studio/ fowmew bedwoom
then welcome the fwiends (inclooding my baby bwuvvew Duffy and his Mom auntie Kawen)

My taste testing skills wewe wequiwed befowe anyone dawed eat all the stuff

eventooally they  all gobbled it up and sat awound yakking like always..but Duffy and I still had wowk to do
we awe pwewashews
The cleanup wowk would be too much fow Mommi to do alone..we awe vewy considewate and always help
This is anothew auntie Kawen..I will call hew KawenKawen..(she wote a weally cool book about the Mawkets of NewYawk and has a FB page about it) she and unkel James awe gweat fwiends who live in the same building wif us and we love them. They have a most wondewful kitty named Pantelewia Azoowa, I just call him Pants(they adopted him in Mozambique)

now back to the impawtant pawt..DESSEWT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think my wowk is done
Duffy and I finally can sneep(yes the hoomans awe still yakking, but we block it out)

(Duffy always unpacks all the toys when he is hewe..he is a sweetie cutie, but can't get enough toys to destuff, hehehehe)
I am weady fow a long west wif a full tummy

I hope all of you had gweat weekends and a good stawt to the week and youw tummies and heawts awe full like mine
smoochie kisses

  7. Wish we could have been there to help with the cleanup - Ciara says she would love to help Duffy play with all those toys you have.

Dinner looked so good we could almost smell it. Sometimes those nice dinner parties with friends are the most enjoyable entertainment. Glad you all had a lovely night together.

What a yummy recipe and how very helpful of you and Duffy to help with the clean up!
We would always be willing to fly over and help if need be.
We are glad you were able to block out the sound of those humans yakking - they tend to do that after they have gobbled up all the food!
Loving your background by the way!!

  18. ASta you are the hostess with the mostest and such a good girl. Was the meal to help celebrate your pawrents very special day last week? We thought that was amazing but were disappointed we couldn't watch the NBC news clip as it won't play outside US.
We enjoyed reading all about your Daddi's experience....absolutely brilliant.

  23. You make the recipes sound so so easy -- we wonder if we could try them!!!

We also wonder if you said "Quiet" and offered everybody 'Treats for humans!!" if they'd stop "yakking," the way we are bribed to stop barking!!!

It looks as though everyone had a lovely time. Good friends. Good food. Good conversation. And the special ingredient: good dogs!!!

    Wirey love,

  34. Oh Asta!!!! (First of all, Scruffy is a bit gaseous and I don't know how long I can sit here with the vapors wafting upwards...)

Oh...that Osso Bu Co looked AMAZING!!!!! And all the weee duck shuns you did...how many ducks did you hafta put in there and why did you shun them??? As for the bucket gar knee...OMD...Mumsie's NEVER cooked with one of those...although with Scruffy hangin' around our kitchen, I'm thinkin' most of the stuff she cooks comes preseasoned with his special flavoring...

    yum

Need to get ready with Noah to go hiking...he is inexhaustable...with the hiking, I mean...
The boyz ran outta waffle batter so they've resorted to instant oatmeal that they've been pouring into the waffle iron...

Evidently the Better Bed and Breakfast Society has been deluged with complaints...

    Hmm...
