Oh. Big Sigh. Now Baxter is in the arms of angels. We know that his family and all those he touched are grieving - hopefully the rich memory of him will ease them through this transition, just as Baxter eased the transition of so many others. This loss is huge. It reminds of us why it is so hard to say "goodbye."

Just when I think the mom won't cry anymore I find that I am wrong. This was such a lovely tribute to Baxter. What a wonderful doggie he was. Now forever he is free to run and play without feeling ill or hurting with his friends that were waiting for him.

Oh Asta...what a bootiful tribute to sweet Baxter!!! He gave of himself to heal others...obviously just his presence in the room helped give courage and dignity to the patient...what a gift to be able to do!
