Mommi should'nt go to see cewtain films

WAWNING!!!!
Don't let youw pawents go see films that make them eat and dwink too much, cause this might happen:

Last night Mommi and Daddi went to the movies, stopped on the way home fow a glass of wine, then went and bought some bwead and cheese and when they got home ate it all up

(of couwse this was aftew a big dinnew befowe they went)...........................

The next mowning
Mommi woke up and said she had the stwangest dweam

appeawantly, I was at a cooking school in Pawis and Tannew and Joey and I wewe chopping mounds of onions

then Mango twied to sell me some shellfish while Gussie, babyStan, Alfie , Jake and Just Harry loitewed on the stweet

I assembled all the food in my kitchen wif all the coppew pots(yeah shoowe, hehehehe)

and then whipped up a wondewful Buw Blank to go wif the fish I had cooked
I used evewy bowl in the whole place

finally, I invited some fwiends to sample my food on ouw wooftop (which was suwpwisingly twanspawted to an outew buwwuw...at least those guys have a good view of my city, hehehe)

fwiends visible awe Gussie,Eric,Toffee, babyStan,JakeRuby,Lacie,Petey,Wosie and my sissie Fewgie..I'm suwe thewe wewe lots of othews thewe but Mommi couldn't fit them into the pictoowe she was descwibing

Aftew dinnew, I wote all about it on my blog...........

well, when Mommi descwibed all this to me, I wanted to know how come aftew all that food I bought and made, I still feel stawved?
but aftew looking in the miwwow, I decided maybe she was wight, and all this did happen..
I seem to have gained a twememdous amount of weight ovew night.
I'm off to a spa wif some of my giwlfwiends on monday. I hope I'll be back to myself by then.

Meantime.........................BONE APPETIT!!!!!!!!

and smoochie kisses

  1. Bone Appetit indeed. Looks like you were cooking up a storm there. We can't see us at the dinner table though???

  2. Now Moma knows why I had lettuce between my teeth and Jake's beard smelled like mussels and other shellfish. We weren't going to tell her, but the word's out! She said it was all right, though, so long as we'd share the recipes and tell her what kind of wine was served. (We need your help! We didn't pay that close attention!)

It was a great time. Tell AmiMommi and Daddi they can go to as many late movies as they want, so long as we can come visit! You are a great hostess! And it's hard to imagine that you gained a tremendous amount of weight! You just want a good excuse to go to a spa!

    We love you,
SissieFergi and BruvverJake (who is snoring off his excesses)

  21. As an ex-New Yowkew (now stuck in the mid-west) dachshund who used to think of Riverside Park as my back yard and Central Park as the front lawn, I loved the “outew buwwuw” comment!

We love your blog, thanks for making my mommy laugh and reminding me of how fun and active life can be for a pooch in the city.

  29. We had never heard of Julia Child but a few weeks in Boston changed all that! There were books about her, about her cooking, about the film everywhere - the little man's mum just finished reading 'My Life in France' last night! She can't wait for the film to come to Ireland. From knowing nothing about Julia Child - she served up aigo bouido to us all tonight - luckily I like garlic!!

    Great post!

    Take care

We should send the maid to see that movie - maybe SHE can cook afterward?

  40. Ciao bella Asta!!

What an adventurer you have been this summer, la mia cara amica! I, Lucia, wish we could go swimming together. (I live near many lakes and love to visit them, but it's always more fun when you're with a pal!)

Did your mama like the movie? La mia ragazza read the book a few years ago but is looking forward to seeing the film, too. It looks like Signorina Streep did a fantastico job!!

    Tanti baci!

That was some dream your Mommi had. Mama wants to know did your Mommi and Daddi see the movie Julie and Julia? All that cooking reminds Mama of Julia Child and the cooking show she had.
