Your buddy Leena looks like she knows how to live, huh? Seeing those photos of your mommi giving her scritches transported me back to your house, when your mommi was so in love with me and scritching me within an inch of my life! Ahhh. I still dream about all of our great time together. I might even do a retrospective post about my trip.
Make sure your mommi takes frequent breaks while she's working. We don't want her to get too worn out.

Hey! I know Leena from the dog run! When she first came in, I was a little nervous, because I still remember when that HUGE Malamute attacked me at the water dish. And I was fine until Mommy put me on my leash, then I had to act like a tough guy - especially after Leena picked up the tennis ball I'd just been playing with!! But last time I saw her, we went for a swim together in the pool and she left my tennis ball alone so I think maybe all dogs that look like Huskies/Malamutes can't be all bad.

ReplyDeleteAs for your mom's headache...I'm on my way...I have some special A ROMA THER A PEE for her...and it doesn't have one thing to do with Scruffy.
I have a light masque to apply with Booberries and other Anti Ox I Dents...very healing...as well as some wefreshin' coo cum bers for her eyes...
I also have learned the art of scalp massage...since we dogs have four paws, it's very soothing...with your four paws added, Asta...we could really do an amazing massage!!! (The secret is to massage with tea tree oil...very soothing and good for the scalp,,,)
If none of that helps, I am bring a very large can of corn...it's a guaranteed cure for the headache...see, you butter the outside of the can...Mommi picks it up to throw it in the trash cuz who eats canned corn anyway and it slips outta her hands and lands on her foot...BINGO...no more headache...
Will be arriving by tea time...am bringin' so lemon scones...am hoping for some raspberry iced tea????

We've so much to say....
ReplyDeleteFirst, we hope Mommi's headache is getting better. We're sure you've been giving her lots of special astattention to help soothe her and let her know how much you love her.
Second, we are thrilled to hear that Laska is home! That was the kind of news we like to wake up to in the mornings.
Third, we loved the pictures of Leena and her apartment. And, wow! We love that she has that backyard and all those books! And, after seeing the pictures, we are expecting a layout of cheese like that when we get back to Colorado. (We'll leave the wine to Moma.)
And fourth, did you know that Lacie is thinking about a make-over, trying to get some speckles of her own? She flattered me so much. She said maybe we (you, too!) can gather in Pittsburgh for a make-over pawty. Jake took her seriously, and is already trying to learn how to play poker!
We'd better stop here. I can get a little carried away at times.... that's what comes with maturity, and vacations!
