Horrible news from my cat friends

Tragically gone, at the age of three months, with deep condolences to the family of Monty

our friend Monty's littlest bean has left us and flown away to heaven. We are absolutely heart broken for his family.

If you can, we need donations to send Little Violette's God Mother to the funeral - please visit the Cat Blogosphere and give if you can. Also, please take a moment to visit Monty's family and keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

  1. Dear Dr. Asta,
My mom says she loves the photo that you and your mom strolling to the wine store. How cool is that!
Oh, the pretty umbrella matching color with your leash too, wow!
I'll go over to Monty to share the sadness. What a tragedy a family has to endure!
Yeah, I have to post something of me onto the cold box too. I'm neglected in my own home!
    Cheers!

  6. I will go over, how very sad. Thank you for asking about Charlotte. She still is missing, but I pray for her each and everyday. I will always look for her. I loved watching you swim. Isn't it funny about Fenway and the photo contest. I guess I am a really good manager, so good they thought he was stealing votes...hehe

  8. It was sweet of you to post this for Sprout, since you didn't know her. But that seems to be what animal bloggrs do, share each other's pain.

  19. Kousin Asta,

I just checked Monty's blog. The loss of little Violette is one of the saddest things I've ever heard. How do parents ever recover from that?

  21. Sweet Asta.

I am so sorry for Monty's family having to say good-bye to their little bean sprout, Violette. I can't even imagine how they must feel, but I hope they will feel the love of all the folks who let them know they care.

We'll go by to let them know we're thinking of them and sending as much comfort as a goober hug can give.

Goob love & smooches to you,
    Stanley
