today is Katie's Biwfday!!.day thwee of the celebwations


 Good mowning Katie-vewe, I hope you slept well.
Today you awe One yeaws old. Let's celebwate my sweet little cousin

 
Somehow, miwacoolously evewyone got down fwom the gweat cliff that Bewtie-lot thought would be an appwopwiate place to climb fow a little excewcise, and the jousting competition was completed wifout mishap.  Thewe was a close call when the mystewious black knight showed up and challenged Alien on his little pony, but Alien was bwave beyond belief and wif the help of Fenwis and Scootew defeated the evil one . The Ladies showewed them wif flowews and accompanied them back to the hall fow mowe  buwgews, umm I mean woast boaw, and lots of Mead to quench theiw thiwst.  The knights wewe twooly hewoic and much admiwed by the Ladies.

Maggie Mae bwought a vewy special guest, Cowbin and joined in the dancing
(behind them fwom left to wight awe:Ciawa,Doyle,Mollie,Thundew, Katie-vewe and Bewtie-lot ,me(Asta) and my Gussie)

Some of ouw fwiends stawted the dance befowe they even got back to the Castle
Even the Wise Old Soul Winston  joined in
in the back fwom the left:Khywa,Awchie,Mango,Bentley and little Ambew the Weenie
in fwont fwom  the left:Lady Fewgie, Siw Butchy , Lady Lacie with Alien on hew awm(ofcouwse,hehehe...at the faw wight Lady Sallie watches calmly

    What a swell party!!!! You and Lady Lacie were such gracious hostesses -- uh, except when we accepted Lady Lacie's invitation to dance, well she got a bit -- shall we say "pushy"????? Fortunately, I was first to take a whirl around the floow, saving my younger brother from a potentially very embarrassing moment or two -- his previous companions have been much more, shall we say, "demure," and he would have been overwhelmed.

    But we had tons of fun -- and we want to end the day with a rousing Happy Birthday to Katievere!!! That's JH on the High C and me on the Low G.

    Swim? Naked? What a great way to bring an end to the party! We've had a fabulous time ... and FINALLY we are getting a chance to catch up with our friends. Once again ... happy happy birthday to Bertie and Katie. And thanks for everything. EVERYTHING!

    We're off to find Winston. Last time we saw him he was chatting with Merlin. We don't think it'd be a very good idea for him to get wet.

    Lady Asta, We've just dropped in to wish a very happy first birthday to Kativere and Bertilott! It's wonderful that you've heated the moat for all of us to enjoy.     Oh well, maybe I do like water after all, if it is heated, and shared with Katie (and all my other wonderful friends and relatives!) But please don't tell Gail about it, or she might go getting ideas again about rinsing mud off my coat by dunking me in cold Scottish mountain streams at the end of a walk, a activity that I most certainly do NOT approve of....

    Lady Asta this has been a most splendid party, I feel so honoured that you went to all this trouble to arrange such a wonderful time for everyone. The pictures were amazing! You can be assured I shall never forget my first birthday.

    But I'm afraid that I shall have to go home to bed shortly. Perhaps time for one last birthday kiss, Katie my sweet?

    Oh, I refuse to believe that all good things must come to an end. Asta, this birthday party for Katie and Bertie has been amazing (and I speak for Jake, as well.) I will forever remember dressing like a Lady, chatting with my friends, dancing with Butchy in the lane and swimming swimming swimming in the warm water of the moat. For me? Best of all? That sweet Katie's dear brother Butchy was able to keep his promise and keep the seizure monster at bay. It may have been all of those brave knights ... but in my heart I believe it is because Butchy is so brave and valiant.

    Many thanks to you. A gentle kiss for Bertie. A sweet curtsie to Katie. And we're off. Full of memories. Full of love. And oh so thankful to be part of such a wonderful group of Family and Friends.

    (Can you tell I'm happy? I am. So is Jake. And Winston ... once he leaves his friend Merlin, I'm sure he'll speak for himself.)

    What a wonderful party this has been Lady Asta. I managed to dance with several boys. The food, the drink, it has been marvelous. All of us wish we could stay and stay, but it is also our skin sissie;s daughters birthday today! you remember our girl. Thank you for all your hard work, and Hppiest birthday to the 2 guests.
