Family Weunited

I was out admiwing the bootiful fall leaves wif my sissie Mywna , when Vinnie, the postman, stopped us on the stweet and said thewe was a telegwam waiting fow Mywna at the fwont desk.
We huwwied as fast as hew wheels and my feets would allow back to ouw building.
She wead it out loud to me:

My sweet Myrna wife... I will be arriving in New York by Dale express (if he can stay on his feet) by midnight. This house is just too weird even for a short visit with Scruffy, Stanny and that Lacie. I only hope our dear Bert has not absorbed any of this oddness...ticks on heads...matches and ticks, tons of candles??, flat dogs in corners and finally tonight's episode...Mumsie came up to my room where I sleep when visiting...she had those pink pepto bismal tutus in her clawlike hands, ready to put them in the already stuffed dog torture drawer....then she saw me...and an IDEA formed....I didn't wait for the inevitable...I grabbed Bertie and wheeled to the unconscious Dale and climbed aboard...I refoose to plie, rel a vay, jete or any other stoopid ballet move ever... I am most looking forward to being reunited with you, my Darling....
Yours in wheel oil,
Gilbert

You see Gilbewt took Bewtie fow a visit wif his aunt Lacie and unkels Scwuffy and babyStan
but if you've been to theiw bloggie lately , you know what kaos it can be.
Fwankly, Mywna also suspects that Bewtie's unkel's might not be the bestest inflooence on a boy of his tendew yeaws..I mean cigaw chomping pokew pawties almost evewy night........

This is Mywna evewyone..I will tell you what happened next: I quickly got the house weady, but didn't have time to dwess befowe my Dawling husband Gilbewt and baby boy Bewtie awwived

Gilbewt and I tucked Bewtie into bed wif his sissie Womy and aftew a stowy, and a lullabye, the exhausted little cuties dwifted off to sneep

I had chilled the mawtoonis in anticipation, and told Gilbewt to get comfowtable and take off his wheels
we talked long into the night and wewe soo vewy happy to be togethew again
It's still waining hewe, but we'll go fow a lovely woll wif the kids and look at all the fall decowations tomowwow
I just hope babyStan got home Ok and things have settled down in the Kweit household
those youngstews awe aways up to something.

(if you don't believe me, go see fow youwselves)

Fow now, I'm not letting my family out of my sight

  2. We're so glad they made it back safe and sound - a tutu is a horrible thing to wear!! Although Mom has considered getting one for Carrleigh since she acts like a little ballerina.

  15. Myrna,

I'm sorry I'm so very delayed in leaving you a proprer note following your lovely recent post. I have been massaging and oiling my paws, as they have gotten rather cold and useless with this recent snow we've been experiencing. Finally they are warming up and I can slowly poke out a response to you.

I'm am so pleased that you have been reunited with your family, and that all seems to be well. After overhearing some chatter here, I was quite aware of the recent chaos in the Kweit household, and I trust you are all using your very good judgement (you know how important that is to me.) It sounds like you prepared a lovely and proper welcoming reception for your wonderful husband, and oh how nice the warm soft bed must have felt to your children. They look so sweet and innocent.

I can see, from the comments, it appears you have stirred up the anxieties and ridiculous notions of some of the wheelies. Personally, I think it is rather comical.

Jake and Fergi send their regards, and the other wheelies do, as well. Your beautiful relative Diana is most excited to see you someday soon, and of course when children get together, there is always a good time. For now, we must thaw out. It is almost time for afternoon tea, and that will be pleasant. We look forward to when you can join us

    My warmest regards to everyone.

  20. Ooh Asta, I hadn't read anything about A-Rod buying a place on Jane Street. Last I heard, they were looking at a penthouse at Superior Ink! Wonder if they'll join the dog run? Can you imagine A-Rod throwing tennis balls for me???

On other real estate news, Daniel Radcliffe/Harry Potter bought a townhouse down the street from me on W. 12th! Maybe I can borrow his broom to fly over and see Rosie...

    Your pal,

    Petey

  22. Asta! The secret to self-confidence, when it comes to boys anyway, is to always have a whole bunch of other boyfriends waiting in the wings, so you don't need to care so much if one gets a bit too obsessed with baseball.

Also, mom is seriously thinking about going to NYC for her bday in December.
