  1. It's good to know that we can reach out - to strangers - and share a bond which is the glue of our existence!

  2. Thank you for posting the wonderful video.

We will never forget here either, this side of the Big Pond.

    Our thoughts are with you.

And all of the people, from all nationalities, who lost their lives, and loved ones that terrible, tragic day.

A beautiful September day, like the one we are having today, terror falling out of the skies.

I think we all remember exactly where we were when we began to hear the unbelievable news.

Hands across the oceans, Paws across the seas.

Your friends in Scotland, Jeannie, Marvin, and family XOXO

  3. Asta, this was a beautiful reminder of a series of indescribably horrible events, a very special way to pause and recall the horrors as well as the heroes. Thank you for posting this.

  6. That was a lovely, and touching video - thanks, Asta. (the human's eyes are moist now) That all happened before I was born, but my human and the dogs watched on television as all work stopped when they brought out the body of one of the police dogs they found who had died in the collapse - that and all the boots we got together to send for the search dogs -

    bunny kisses,
    Lovey (for Charlie's DogBlog)

  13. We will never forget - does not feel like 8 years has passed. Still so very upsetting to see all those pictures. This day will forever be in the minds of us who lived it.
    Thank you for the post.

  16. Oh Asta...eight long years ago...or eight short years ago? Lots of those doggies aren't with us anymore...but they are watchin' over us with our other friends...and I'm thinkin' they may have got their angel wings as soon as they got there...not like some of us who still have so much to learn. Those dogs learned...you can see it in their eyes.

You and I know so many other animals and their hoomans from so many places. Some we will never meet...some we will...but our friendship that bonds us together gives us hope for tolerance and peace.....

We love you and your mommi and daddi...

  20. I didn't know about all those doggies. Thank you for putting that up. My bearded owner was supposed to be on one of those planes from Boston but they changed some meeting at the last minute. So we are sad and grateful.

P.S. I loved reading about your trip. I think you all looked fabulous.
