  1. Our Mom says that if your Mommi had any kind of dental work and the dentist said not to smoke - she might want to give up drinking through a straw too - just knock 'em back - it'll make the pain go away faster anyway.

We hope she's feeling better soon.

  9. asta, you are a fine Gore Mett cook. Muzzer said that the addiiton of peanut butter made it kind of like a Thai Fusion (i think that is kinda like con fusion, which I unnerstand) and that any kind of fusion is good to go nowadays.

We Die Gress...glad to hear that Mommi is feeling a bit better. Hope she is in top notch form for the DWB Moms with Noms get together.

  17. Oh Asta. When we started reading this ... we were focused on your healing pawrers with your mommi. And we're so happy you could be there with your carrot and your chicken to make some special soup for her. But as we wrote this, we had a slight emotional breakdown in our household. Could you please share your amazing recipe with Moma? Do you think it could help heal a broken heart? OurGirl needs some of your pawfect nurturing and your smoochies kisses (in addition to all the ones we're trying our best to deliver.) Fast. Moma is putting out an all call for zen. And whatever else it is that helps at this stage of emotional development.

(Sorry to be so self focused ... but we hoped you'd understand.)

Sigh. Sniff. But happy MommiAmi is feeling a bit better ... cause of you.

    Love

  23. Chef Asta, I'm sure your special soup recipe will make your mom feel much better! I hate teeths. They cause nothing but troubles for cats, dogs and peoples. They might have been designed incorrectly.

  26. Hi Asta, that carrot was just the most thoughtful gift - we loved seeing your preparing it for the pot!
We know your mom is going to just love the soup that you are making for her.
Our mum says to tell yours that she sometimes thinks half her life has been spent at the dentist with one disaster or another!
Truly she could write a book so she does empathise - we don't know what that means!
Yes chocolate slips down so easily and oh how you need comfort!
Take care of your mom Asta - lets hope Jeannie (Marvin's blog) doesn't get sight of that carrot.
She will be comparing it with hers at the allotment and it might make her feel worried!
    love and kisses

Glad to hear your Mommi's feeling better. I'm recovering nicely from my injuries but will probably still have a silly bald patch when our friends arrive. Maybe I can borrow a wig?
