OMD....even your towel is orange. I bets your mom went out and bought orange towels just to match your collar. Okays, well that kinda be off subject so I continue now. It's 90 plus and hooomid here too. Our mom's hair gets wider and wider everytime she takes us for a walk. Since dogdad has been in San Juan the past few days, it's all up to her and she can barely get her head through the door anymore.
ReplyDeleteWe cool off from the unexpected showers though and the wet grass. No baths so far. Stripping is in the cards though 'cause we have about two extra pounds of fur each. It seems to grow faster in the heat (or like mom's?).

we were so happy to read that your mommi ordered an orange breakaway collar for you. if you just wear it when you are home alone, it will give your mommi and daddi peace of mind that you will be okay, no matter what kind of trouble you get into. our darn collars can get stuck on so many things and then we can't get loose and that's very very bad. but we need to wear our collars because they hold our ID tags! so that's why our human is a firm believer in the breakaway collars. she won't even let us wear bandanas unless she we are in her presence. silly human, but at least we are all safe.

OOHHHHHHH - it is very 'Scorch-io' over here too! Yesterday D let me have an Ice Lolly - and it was nummy! Paddy has a cooling gel bed - you put it in the fridge and then it stays cool under his bed for hours - poor little guy. He sleeps a lot in this heat!

ReplyDeleteIt is oppressively caldo, caldo, caldo here as well, mia amica, so what's a girl to do but cool off with a quick rinse!?! I must say, though, that I, Lucia, so love baths and bathrooms that when la mia ragazza can't find me in la casa, she usually only has to go check the bathtub because I am often curled up in it having a nice nap -- even if there's no water! I enjoy the cool feel of the porcelain and find it very refreshing on warm days. Heeeeeeee!!!
