  1. I'm sorry they're waking you up so early in the morning, but I'm pretty excited about the High Line opening this Spring. A nice park with trees and green grass and flowers -- all the pictures I've seen look awfully nice. And from what we've heard, doggies will be allowed up there too.

You'll be able to look outside your window and see trees and flowers! That's nicer than graffiti, right? Hey, and I just read the new Whitney is only going to be six stories, not seven so you won't lose your windows. (And with the economy the way it is, it may be a long time before they get their funding together.)

Cheer up little gal! Sophie's mommy is coming tomorrow!!!

    Your pal,

    Petey

  3. Hey Asta, we're with you. We think a refurbished old building is so much more appealing. Why are some pinkies so silly.
Everyone should listen to you Asta. Keeping spreading the word.

  6. That's too bad about the construction. Maybe if you get all your doggie friends you could go over there and bark at them. That should scare them off.

Those eatables look wonderful! Your Mommi always makes such gweat looking, and I'm sure great tasting, food. My mom doesn't even come close!

  9. Sweet Astaroni Lovepup O' Mine!

What is that dessert? Is it homemade cannolis? Whatever it is I'm sure it (and your daddi's attention) made you feel all warm inside! I can't believe Cawina just ignored you!

I hope the park turns out as nice as they say it's going to be. It will be great for you to have another park so close by!

Hoomans sometimes think they know what's best, but they made a mistake tearing down that building. We don't do that here in GooberSTan.

    Enjoy the weekend Sweetpea!

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley

  10. Hi Asta,

I totally agree with you - they should "wefoodbish" the building instead!

Mmm - that desert looks so yummy! You are such a lucky pup to always get these treats! :-)

  15. Hi, Asta -

Mama, Kaci and I (Hershey) miss one day of visiting some blogs and you wake up to "Jack" at 6:30 a.m.?!? My grandma (who I never met) used to tell Mama NYC is the "city that never sleeps."

Since we live all the way in Connecticut we can "feel your pain."

You do get yummy food from your Daddi - you are such a loved pup!

Have a good weekend - maybe the park will be bee-o-ti-ful but we understand that maybe they should have done something to refurbish the current building.

    Love -

    Hershey and Kaci

P.S. This happened on Friday the 13th? Mama is not usually supersticious (sp?) but things were strange here too. Kaci told us that they STILL have two feet of snow in the front yard in NH. Should we send some to Khyra?

  16. So sorry for the noise, sweety, I'll send you some earplugs, k?
Or if that OK with your mommy, you can fly here with us, first flight tomorrow, first class, hehe.
Asta, come come to Momo&Pinot, they showed that you have a shop in Tokyo.
    Love you lots.

  21. There are times when things should just be left alone. There is nothing like the looks of an older building.

  25. Asta,
I think you need to put your hard hat and steel toed boots on and go over there and tell those construction guys how it's suppose to be done!

Yes, it has been such a sad week at DWB. And we just found out Petra's gwampa passed away too.
